Discussion: 4/28 Dev Chat recorded on Ustream
It's still depressing to think that revamping the Shadow Shard Zones to be co-op is "too big" of an undertaking to be considered (short of making them the focus of an Issue release). The Shadow Shard has some of the most beautiful locations in the entire game, and is a region just begging for further development ... and yet, it has been almost entirely untouched since Issue 2 (aside from a few bug fixes here and there, and easier travel options). I just think it's a terrible shame that probably only a minority of players even know that these zones exist, let alone what's in them (or indeed, why anyone would want to go there).

With Rularuu being hinted at as a player in the whole "Coming Storm" thing, I'm wondering if we won't get an Issue-sized Shadow Shard revamp someday.

Edit Edit: I see Matt doesn't check the suggestion forums very often, if he's surprised at the community having csome good ideas And fixed wing wings have come up many times before.
Edit Edit II: Zortel pointing out that shards are effectively now useless and pointless isn't 'snark', guys. Come on. There are many, many ways of putting that that could have been genuinely snarky, and that was not one of them. Kinda unfair on Z there.
Edit III: Is Zwillinger the one doing the actual reading out and PC management?

Posi, something very cool that you said about how a lot of you designing the game weren't really huge mmorpg players and so that you somewhat set out to design the mmorpg for yourselves...
I think it shows in great ways.
Great job and I've enjoyed listening to you guys talk about this stuff as I'm doing some mundane tasks this afternoon.
Reminds me of the first New York Meet and Greet, as I enjoyed listening and talking to Posi about the game. The interest and enjoyment of it all is evident. And the loyalty is appreciated much as well!
And Zwill... I guess your job hosting these streams might be a little more difficult if maybe you had the Marx Bros. show up!
