The problem with SS/Dark is endurance. SS is the most endurance heavy primary and Dark Armor is the most endurance heavy secondary. You will want the Cardiac Alpha and even the Ageless Destiny as well.

Hasten crash isn't that big compared with the rage crash. Once you get some IO's, accolades, and most importantly Incarnate powers you'll be set for endurance. Till then you can just carry blues and slot for endurance reduction.

I don't know how much influence you have/plan to spend on a ss/dark brute, but here's a build I put together for a smash/lethal farm.

126 max end with a net recovery of 2.38/second. Shouldn't have many end problems with that recovery, 3 performance shifter procs, and a theft of essence chance for +end proc in dark regen. Hasten not perma, but you should be able to take t4 spiritual for better recharge and faster farming speed. No need to run murky cloud when you're doing a smash/lethal farm, simply there so you can run other stuff as well. Should only need to carry a tray of purple insps during farm. 1 purple will soft cap the s/l defense at 45%. Make sure to get the accolades that give +max end as well. Energy Mastery on a farmer is a big no-no. Mu or Pyre, and you also want the FF +Recharge proc in Foot Stomp.

Still, going cardiac and taking mu or pyre mastery will work great too.
Get the Theft of Essence proc in Dark Regeneration. You'll end up gaining endurance every time you use it!
Like others have said, aim for recharge and the Cardiac Alpha. S/L defense is probably not necessary on a farmer. On a normal build it would turn you into a god. Since your goal is farming, you should be more concerned about kill speed. If you're solo on x8 you'll be getting more inspiration than you know what to do with. You'll practically always be at or near the defense soft-cap from your purple drops alone.
Think of it this way: If you have a fast kill speed and can endure the initial engagement, inspirations will cover pretty much every hole in your build.
If you're farming AE use the inspiration vendor to cap your damage and defense, then stock up on 10 lucks and 10 enrages. Make sure you have the map loaded and ready to enter beforehand. Then just jump into the mission and run to your target to trigger the ambushes. When your initial enrages start to wear off pop the 10 you have in storage, then use the lucks that you have to keep yourself at the soft-cap. If you want you can just spam F1-F5 constantly to use every inspiration that drops. I find that to be a pretty effective method.
Here's my SS/Dark Brute build. He was my favorite for a good long while but eventually ended up sticking with my SS/Fire - she just takes things down a lot faster!

i am not sure how to build it but i know i want a dark armor farmer and have been wanting one for a while and thinking about ss/dark. can i get any suggestions or anything i hear dark armor has a high resistance to psi ty any help is appreciated
