Ageless vs Alpha recharge?

Hello

I'm bored at work and have been planning out what slots I want for various toons.
I currently have the Spiritual alpha (recharge), but I'm now wondering if I could swap it out for Musculature if the recharge from Ageless (tier 4) would be better than the alpha.
I'm completely useless at maths, but looking at the figures it looks like a permanent boost to recharge which would also boost hasten, and compliment the IO set bonuses.

Any number crunchers out there that can shed some light on spiritual vs alpha?

Thanks

Interested in this too if anyone has looked into it? I would imagine going with the spiritual alpha + Ageless Destiny would be better if I has *minor* End troubles, for example?

@Fail (Used to be @Tux) and @Tuxedo Infinitus Defiant/Freedom/Champion
Favourite Toons: Prosper [Ill/Rad] Controller :: Infinitus [Fire/Elec] Blaster :: Pocket Dynamo [Fire/Shield] Scr :: Fast [Cold/Sonic] Def ::
Inspire [Plant/Storm] Controller :: Quality - SS/Fire Brute :: Double Down [DP/Kin] Corr :: Pwnz [Fire/Cold] Corr :: Fail [Fire/Son] Corr

Ok, if I've done my math correctly the Ageless Destiny is mathematically equivalent to a 22.5% static recharge boost (obviously the fact that it's variable gives it different pros and cons in some situations).

I'm using the method suggested on the wiki for variable recharge bonuses:

Quote:
The best way to think about it is that Hasten (and all powers) recover 1 point per second. Hasten needs 450 points to recharge.

Recharge buffs change the number of points you accumulate every second, so with hasten active, you get 1.7 points back per second for each power that's recharging.

So, click Hasten. For the next 120 seconds you accumulate 120*1.7 = 204 points
You still need another 246 points for Hasten to recharge, and will have to wait 246 seconds for them to accumulate at 1 point per second.

So the total recharge time will be 120 + 246 = [366] seconds.
Using that method Ageless provides:
0.7 points per second for 10 seconds
0.4 points per second for 20 seconds
0.2 points per second for 30 seconds
0.1 points per second for 60 seconds.

If you multiply that out and average it over the 120 seconds you get 0.225 points per second.

Thanks Adeon.

So....based on that it sounds like it's the equivalent of Lightning Reflexes (20% recharge).
I need to have a look on mids and see the effect lightning reflexes has on Hasten. With Hasten, Lightning Reflexes and maybe 30% recharge from IO's I'm thinking I could drop the Spiritual and take Ageless instead. I could then take Musculature which benefits damage on the other Incarnate slots. It could be a win-win.

Not sure but why not use both? I use both and while Ageless is active I get to use an attack chain that isn't available normally. MG/SL/Smite rinse repeat

The more people I meet, the more I'm beginning to root for the zombies.

This.

On a related note; am I the only person excited about the debuff resistance in Ageless? Have not seen much discussion of it, but for folks without DDR or recharge debuff resist it seems almost like a no brainer?

My guess is that the OP would like the benefit of something other than recharge in their Alpha. That's my situation; I have a Dark tank that could use more end reduction but would like the recharge bonus too.
