FYI -- Lambda Trial
I'm on the fence about this one. I guess my feeling is... just don't be dumb about it. Also... the door does not HAVE to be opened. If the door is not opened, much safer (you just have to have everyone jump over the wall)
Anyways... nothing funnier could happen than what I accidentally already did in a cut scene (I can't post it, but happy to link to it if anyone wanted to see, pm me). So my cut scene days are sadly over.
Overall, I have lead over 20 trials, I kicked one person for not following directions (someone who I knew knew better), and I felt really bad about it later. I know gaming is srsbsns, but maybe we can all just relax a lil?

I will take all of these words of advice in the hopes of one day when I can look forward to people thinking enough of me to allow me to try to lead any of these down the path of utter frustration and ultimate failure. Wait, I mispelled success :S
KT, please play with me. How may I tempt you back to this game? |

not really in regards to the lambda trial, but as of last night i saw a new way poeple could grief the BAF
when i was on a few BAFs during the escapee phase, i saw a LT ranked escapee running by and noticed someone had detention fielded the guy
lo and behold that was our only guy who escaped, whoever did it, actually did it again like 45 seconds later, but by that time we were close enough to finishing the 2nd guy didnt escape
so be aware of detention fielding and other intangibility powers on the BAF escapee phase
I've never failed a Lambda because I cut-scene jack.. but I can see why you guys don't like it. You just have to be smart about where you are.
If you aggro ANY of the mobs coming out of the portals, Marauder is aggravated and will try and smash said player.
If you stand exactly where Marauder is, after the cutscene he teleports ahead where he is when he is gathering his cronies, if you attack him before he teleports you will of course aggro him there.
But, I think kicking a player because they feel like doing the tantrum/frustrated emote in the cut-scene is wrong, would that not be griefing said player? Such as someone who say.. kicks a player at the end of a TF when the AV has a sliver of health left? I don't think that would help the cause.. it would only piss of said kicked-player.
But again, I see the point:
If one person does it, everyone thinks they should to.
Just play it smart.
The problem nugget, is people say "oh that is funny, ha ha I want to try that" then go into the cut scene with their pet(s) out. The Pet trails you and will aggro Maurader and if he hit it and it flies out of the wall he will follow it. Instafail.
I have been in tons of cut scenes, but on MSTF or such I refrain from doing so because its really selfish/stupid to potential ruin something for everyone, just to have a little fun.
This cut scene has a great potential to cause complete failure therefore, I would request people not go into it.
Have I kicked anyone from this trial? No. I am just stating I really would rather NOT see 1/2 the team out there emoting when there are still objectives to complete.

KT........this is pretty sad. Same 4chan post?
I've already forgotten about most of you
Is that better?

Just for the record I was not in the cut scene on that lambda I was killing the last grenade glowing. Trust me once you get a failure because of someone pulling the AV I'm sure you all might feel the same.
