As of i20, I can not load coh. When I click on play now for CoH on the NCsoft Launcher, it gives me the loading nottice that tells me that the game is loading. It just sits there and does nothing else. The loader updated the new patch for i20 last week and had this problem. I tried it again yesterday and updated to another patch. But I am still having the same problem. Does anyone know why this is happening? I tried looking it up, but there does not seem to be any postings about this particualr problem.

BurteForce, have you tried a "Repair (Consistency Check)"? It can be found by right clicking on "CITY OF HEROES" in the NCsoft Launcher.

I was able to log into the game last night with no problems. No updates were received since.
I've attempted to use the repair button, but like ze goggles, it did nothing.
I've attempted to run the launcher as the admin (running windows 7). it did nothing.
I hope this helps narrow down the cause of this issue.
Edit: Now it seems to work again =/. Not sure at all what i did though.
I've been having this problem too. The way it seems to be happening with me is that it works the first time I try to start up CoH after my computer turns on. However, if I try to log in again at any point later, it just keeps trying to load. I have to restart my computer to get CoH to get past the loading screen. It's rather annoying.
I'm running on Vista, for what it's worth.
The lattest patch is updated. I tried "repair" and check for up dates. They both went as expected, I am still stuck at the nottice that says "Loading...". Restarting the computer does not help. I even tried using the orginal updater (the one the ncsoft updater replaced.) I did not try playing the game when i20 hit, so I can not be sure that was the cause of the problem. I do know the game worked fine the week before. I am also running on vista. Aslo, updating from vista to windows 7 is physicaly not possible for me at the moment. My firewall is off and there is no restrictions on my internet connection.
Should I just send an email to the coh devs?
Thank you
I don't think the devs could help you but you should an e-mail to the support of NCSoft.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I have not played coh much lately. I know a coh helper is a new in game feture that people can choose to be part of. Beyond this, I know nothing about it. How can this help me when I can not log into the game game?
CoH Helper is not a new in-game feature. It is a program a player wrote that compiles a listing of many of the important settings so that you can paste it into a forum post for people to have useful data to use to troubleshoot problems.
Hyperstrike has created an excellent [Guide] Asking for technical help on the forums thread, and he gives step by step instructions for running and posting the results of both CoH Helper and HiJackThis. That thread is stickied in this forum.
