Weekly Costume Contest from Hero Dawn

The Faultline Anime costume and trivia contest was a success!

A commendable occasion to help celebrate Japanese animation in style where everybody left with a jingle in their pockets.

Find my write up, complete with photos, here:
http://www.herodawn.com/anime-contest-winners/

Goat will be posting the "top three" winners for the evening in a little while and Doc Triumph will be by to post information regarding next week's costume and trivia contest.

Enjoy!

We will be in Steel Canyon.

Now for some 80's and 90's fun.

HE-MAN!
And the Masters of the Universe.

I am Adam,
Prince of Eternia, defender of the secrets of Castle Greyskull.
This is Cringer
my fearless friend.

Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic
sword and said:

"By the power of Greyskull"

HE-MAN!

"I have the power!"

Cringer became the mighty Battle Cat.

And I became He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.

Only three others share this secret.
Our friends the Sorceress,
Man at Arms
and Orko.

Together we defend Castle Greyskull from the evil forces of Skeletor.

HE-MAN!

Yeah, the turn out at that one was great, as were the costumes. This last one in Kings Row, we filled the zone and spawned another instance. Had people asking in broadcast why there were so many people hanging out at the train station.

The post for that one was a little long because of the number of winners, pictures, and other information involved, but you can look at it at the link Doom Diva posted.

The "Dawn of Radio Paragon" event was a great time last night. Thanks to everyone who participated and congrats to all of the winners.

Our theme next Sunday, December 18th will be: "You're a Good Hero, Charlie Brown." The theme for the evening will be children's holiday classics and it will be starting at 10 P.M. Eastern.

I don't have the location for this one yet, but we have a team of experts with a state-of-the-art GPS system and a divining rod hard at work to determine the best spot to hold it.

I'll let you know as soon as I get their findings.

As usual, there will be trivia and at least 350 million inf in prizes.

If you can't wait until Sunday to get your trivia fix, come join us at The Cape Radio Winter Gala 2011 on Saturday the 17th.
