Ya Copy Tool is down again,can't copy toons to the test server!

Is it still not working?? I copied about 4 toons 2 hrs ago and not one has made it to the test server. Can we get a dev or mod to sticky a thread telling folks how long we should expect it to take since the copy tool site states 30 mins.

Copied a toon over today at around 11:20am, it's now 4:28pm and the toon still isn't there.

Some acknowledgement would be nice. Is the tool officially down? How long till it's back up? Is it broken? It really irritates me that it can sometimes take such a stupidly long time to get official word on some things. It really only takes seconds to check if it's down, post and say "It's down, we're on it." That has to be my biggest issue with this game. Lack of communication when something hits the fan. My other issue is when the copy tool IS down, it's down for like....weeks (Maybe an exaggeration, maybe not).

They know its down but I'm unsure if its working since I didn't get a chance to check it. Can anyone verify if its fixed? I've been copying to the public test server which I assume is the correct one although the going rouge one also shows up on the copy tool website.

I also copied a toon over more than 24 hours ago, and it is still not there. I have a level 44 to level up and can't do it until I try some of her powers out. So no transfer, no levelling up. Has anybody heard from the devs, etc. that they're aware of the problem? I'm new to the game, so still don't know who we'd send a bug report to.

Later: Come to think of it, I tried copying over a toon a few times last week (on both the Test server & Rogue) and she still hasn't arrived. I had to create her from scratch.

Why bother unless they have opened the US test server while leaving the EU one closed we have not been able to get on the test server for months,even when they opened it for testing the new stuff I managed to get on once,this is a pretty poor show.

I went ahead and PM'd Avatea again. They stated they were resetting it back on the 14th and I haven't had a single toon I copied end up there. Its sad that we can't test our builds; but yet a FTP game you don't have these issues with their test server.

I'm fairly new to CoH, but perhaps if everyone from EU and NA servers submitted daily bug reports until it actually got some attention. A lot of games don't provide "test" servers as they do here, but - since they do offer it - I believe it's their job to make it functional. There are user messages going back to February, and that's without really searching. It's very frustrating.

Yesterday or the day before I tried again to copy three characters over to the PTS. When I reloaded, it said the copy was in progress for each. When I checked back later, it had apparently finished but again - nothing showed up on the PTS. I also got an "invalid server" error message the first time I reloaded the page after copying the toons (from Virtue).
