We ignored the Primal Duray and focused on the Praetorian one first. For us the key was as soon as an air strike is called; Move!

It isn't a straight up beatdown. If you are standing on one of the blinking arrows, you are going to get hit by the air strike. Once we figured this out, it was a cakewalk.

Oh, we figured that out easily enough. Had enough experience with that annoying type of "attack" from the Apex. But between the AV-level damage and the endless reinforcements both of them seem to call in... *shrugs* it quickly became a waste of time. Quite apart from the idiotic bug of getting hit by the "air strikes" while still underground.

Could have been worse, I suppose. I could have been playing my favorite AT: Mastermind. And once again feeling like someone at Paragon hates them so much that they go out of their way to flatline the AT's ability to contribute to something like this. Would feel a LOT less annoyed by such "attacks" if a) they'd give the "target patches" a fear effect (not just the resulting damage) and b) fix the pet fear response that makes them run 100 yards or so to "escape" a 10 foot effect.

Thanks to I20, I'm going to have the song "Come out and Play" and it's local parody song forever stuck in my head because whenever I think of that badge name, bam, the song instantly roots itself into my head.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, really enjoying both trials. 5/5 on the BAF (Mo on #4) and 1/1 on the Lambda, the latter being a bit shaky for the newb (me) since the explanation of the stages was a bit sparse. Got through it the same way I generally do with new and unfamiliar stuff: I followed the team leaders like a lost puppy... with zombies.

Disagree. While the SF does re-use art assets, I enjoyed the writing for the most part (yor villain is very proactive and duplicious) and being able to put the smackdown on four separate factional leaders during the course of only four missions.

Now we just need a Moritimer Kal Incarnate pet for the Lore slot for villains who have run the arc.

There are no hard iTrials, only hard peo-... er... wait.

Well, this was the first week with truly extensive penetration of Incarnate abilities into the player base. I will that that this week's RtR was AWESOME!

An average week yields something in the neighborhood of 3-500 Vanguard merits. Tonight? 650+.

Even Rikti Magi don't stand up to massed Judgement blasts all that well.

While I have a few serious quibbles about some of the mechanics (or the deprecation of said mechanics) in the game, I'll say this. I'm having fun.

That was an epic, intense, heroic battle. Nearly 20 minutes of 16 characters working together as a team, supporting each other, and everyone putting their entire attention toward one goal. That fight could have been the climax of a movie.

It was awesome, and that was a badge we EARNED.

have not attempted a Mo for either finally got on a BAF and they were decidedly not Mo (keep em separated seems like a badge that is going to be hard to get)

AFAIK, you don't have to qualify for all the badges in the same run.

The big stinker for GKES is those damn wall guns.

If everyone forgoes qualification for the badge for NOT clicking the glowies that are shutting them down, GKES becomes more doable. You still need timing though. It'd REALLY suck to get one of the AVs rezzing at full HP because you didn't keep the HP beating coordinated.

Yeah the new style stuff its not all in one run. I have about 50% of the BAF badges and just 1 of the Lambada ones. It appears by not clicking on the glowies in BAF you get better loot so that was the route that was taken and then AVs brought together.

It was my 1st and 2nd time doing back to back and everyone else seemed to know what was going on so I was a little lost and just going with it. (they sent some people to a chokepoint and I had no idea lol but I stuck by a door and kicked butt)

This is correct, and is how I got MoBAF - pretty much one badge per run.

On the plus side, if you DO end up having one rez, and can defeat the other fast enough, you CAN get back on track and still get the badge on their second time down. It's just a matter of playing a lot of catch-up on the one that rezzes second. This is exactly how a BAF I was on last night worked out.
