Does cloaking device work with Stealth Proc in SS ?

I want to say no as the description says Cloaking device does not combine / work with other stealth powers as steamy mist or shadow fall.

But as always I feel more comfortable asking in the forums to get some confirmation.

As a side note I looked at my perception numbers with both Cloaking device and SS on and my Perception numbers did increase. So is this a glitch ? Or is the stealth proc just something different and I am reading too much into this ?

Cloaking Device, a Stealth proc IO, and the Stealth effects from Super Speed can all be used together.

Cloaking device and the Pool Power Stealth can not be used together (the powers are mutually exclusive.)

I completely forgot about the bold part above. For PvE reasons I think that SS with Cloaking Device might be enough then for stealth runs when needed.

Looking at mids I am loosing 30 feet without the stealth proc. Further I didn't think to look in that section until you mentioned what you did.

Thanks you might have just help me fix my AR Device toon.

It should, yes. As I understand it adding yet a third stealth effect on top of that won't do anything, you'll hit the stealth cap.

I use Cloaking Device + Super Speed on my Dual Pistols/Dev blaster, "Pepe LePewPew." When both are running, Combat Attributes shows 70 ft stealth, which is full invisibility against all foes who do not have +perception.

I'm planning to use a Stealth IO in Hover in combination with Cloaking Device.

Since, you know, hover blaster...

You'd be well under the Stealth cap - three stealths would put you at about 90-100' stealth.

However, any two stealth effects or one invisibility will put you at 60-70', which will stop any enemy that doesn't have +perception or immunity to stealth from seeing you.

Note that, contrary to the power descriptions, AoE stealths like Steamy Mist will stack with stealths like Cloaking Device or power pool Stealth. You cannot turn on both at the same time, because the toggles are flagged exclusive, but ig you are running one of the personal stealth powers, and an ally with Steamy Mist stands beside you, you will benefit from both.

It works beautifully. I've been doing that with my Sonic/Devices blaster for several years now.
