Burn
I think that has more to do with aggro control. Mobs will run like crazy from my Scrapper when I turn on burn, but they will stay nice and close when I use it on my Brute. The difference being the brute version of Blazing Aura has a taunt.
Enemies have always fled from the scrapper version. They would flee from the tanker and brute versions as well, but the taunt overrides their normal AI desire to leave damage patches. Burn no longer has an overriding avoid/fear mechanism. Enemies still are not stupid enough to stand in damages patches unless you make them that stupid somehow. (Although it is worth checking into more, in case I am mistaken).

Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.
I could have sworn when the change to remove the fear first came out they didn't automatically run away. Then somewhere along the line they started doing it again.
Ah well.. guess I'll just learn to live with it if it is wai.
There is a fear effect built into enemies where if they are taking too much damage, dying too fast and/or not hitting/defeating the hero their morale can break and they will run away. I think it also kicks in with location based DoT powers. (Rain of Fire, Ice Storm, caltrops, burn patch, etc) They will try to get out of it because it is avoidable.
The power itself does have its fear effects removed, however scrappers don't have the taunt in Blazing aura (as someone mentioned) to get them to override these effects.
The addition of taunt to scrapper blazing aura would make me very happy.

I think at this point, I could easily get behind adding the taunt effect aura to all scrappers (even SR and maybe even Regen). Or, maybe just removing the taunt aura from Shields would be the way to go. OTOH, I am fine with the status quo as well.

Has anyone else noticed that Burn in Fiery Aura makes opponents flee again?
Seemed to have started happening again after a fix to a related blaster power but I could be mistaken as I don't play that scrapper but once a month or so.
It has become such a problem that I've started using it again for mitigation and as a finisher. Is it just my imagination?
