Im afraid that im going to slot this character wrong because i know NOTHING i repeat NOTHING about IO's.... Im still old school with 6 slotting every damage power and having hammi's put in there. So please tell me if i am going in the right direction. (P.S. Beast run is my travel power Not negotionable)

Ok, doin' good so far, keep it steady!

FM/wp is a tremendous performer on a brute, you have chosen wisely.

However, fire breath is kind of a dog. The animation time is reeeeaally long. Fire Sword Circle is a much, MUCH better attack.

Six slot your attacks.

Pyre mastery is good, but soul mastery is better. (Gloom and dark obliteration are your friends.)

...ok, there's too much. Since you tossed in the OMG Panacea, I'm assuming you have resources, so here:

Gotta think that since he left when the markets started he has limited resources beyond some Hami's that may be stashed on an old toon.

Then again he may have old friends that still play that are happy to float him some inf for a build

Not much on funds but i am deff. working on it.

If you don't have funds yet, but sure to look into Reward Merits and Alignment Merits (check http://paragonwiki.com for more info). I've funded most of a moderately expensive build without outside influence by using those two sources.

Current primary characters, all on Guardian:
The Amber Fist (Elec/Stone Tanker) | Pixelbeater (Fire/Kin Corr) | The Sequencer (Bots/Traps MM)
Blakkat (Claws/Dark Brute) | Mhogus'thra (Ill/Dark Cont) | Wyldhunt (Beast/Dark MM)

Yeah thats Really new to me. I'm looking into every option. I will Fully slot this toon if it take me 1000 years. Im hitting 20 and im going strong. TF and SF missions look like they give out alot of merits. I have a pretty tight group with me that teams up pretty often, and we have some in game content fun. All around im just enjoying the game, Ill save the holy **** i need money stuff for when its time to start slotting.

As a savings measure, as you approach lvl 27 start saving up for common IOs (non-sets). At lvl 30 these give you a bigger boost than SOs at the same level and they never wear out. I typically slot lvl 30 IOs starting at 27 then ride with them all the way to 50 as I hoard the good recipes and the Inf to craft and purchase.

Read some of the Forums as to how the Market works. It may seem intimidating at first but you can often find bargains there if you're patient. Plus, some of the stuff you might have on older toons (like Base Salvage) can now be sold for a pretty penny.

Have your friends explain how they earn Inf and then try to avoid being in direct competiton with them. You may even form a little Marketing Collective with them to increase all of your buying power.

And welcome back.

Hi. I didn't like the IO system when it first came out. And it is optional. But wait! This 7 step guide should answer all your questions. I highly recommend High Beam's Set Invention Origin Enhancements - Parts 1 -7 for maximizing your gaming.

I thought I knew about IOs and the Market until this guide. It is long, yes, but well worth it.
