Question about Account/Store Offline 3/9-3/10

The empty slots get re-locked(since the store server is down and unable to tell your PC you earned them), any extra slots with a character in them should be fine like they always have. Just remember not to delete a toon on a server you expanded hoping to immediately roll a new alt with its slot that day

And just to be clear, with the store down, deleting any character, new or old, will not free up a slot if you still have 12 or more characters on that server.
Doesn't matter that you deleted a character from one of your original 12 or even 8 slots for us old timers made back in 2004. The game doesn't discriminate between added slots and original slots.

What everyone said above is true, BUT... The last time the store was down, I recall getting the "Store is unavailable" message, then going "Hey! I still have empty slots!"
It may be that they've fixed the store so you don't lose anything you already have when it goes down, but I'm not going to say that with 100% certainty until I see it a few times.

I searched for the answer to this but found none, and I cannot reply to Avatea's announcement since the thread or forum rules prevent that.
