ELF STALKER Still lurks Champion Server streets!
It's ok..
Lots of build up for the final scene etc., a few minimal other plotlines / acting scenes that are memorable. So if want can just watch the entire ending and get the cliff notes for the rest and you should be gtg. As is usual in anything he is a part of.. Jack N.'s performance doesn't disappoint and in this case it is one of his shining moments. |

This I disagree with though. That freedom is meaningless if the manner in which it is provided cannot be questioned. I don't believe that putting your life on the line means your actions are beyond question or reproach.

I've had to deal with people that don't support those that put their lives on the line (have plenty of friends that have/still serve; including one who was spat on when coming home for one of his leaves by a 'Anti-Afghan war activist') enough times that my patience is very thin on the subject.
Understood, it is a bit extremist of a saying.

So long as people don't actually get physical over it (like spitting), people like us have fought for their right to choose not to support us, Tamer. Besides, you know as well as I do that spitting on a soldier (particularly Infantry) is likely to cause one hell of a ruckus.

Interesting conversation ya'll are having. Being USMC Infantry, I only have a single opinion on the matter, but I imagine my post would be pulled so I won't bother.
Space reserved for a super awesome Signature, someday...
Tamerlayne, See, that I think is ****** up. I don't believe people have to like or agree with the wars their country is in, but showing that kind of disrespect isn't okay. Especially since most soldiers are just dudes doing their job and proud to be fighting for their country.
Same thing for the police IMO. Don't have to like 'em, don't have to like everything they do, but do show some respect because the job they do is in service to the people and can be dangerous.
Force, If you're unable to voice your opinions on the matter in reasonable discourse, perhaps you should reexamine your opinions.

The quote from the movie is made from a character who is clearly insane and is arrested shortly after uttering those words.
The reality is that most military understand that they are fighting for the rights of people to actually disagree, protest and yes criticize the very people fighting for those rights. While military may not like it or personally agree with it, the good ones understand that you can't have one without the other. The rest is just chest thumping ego maniacal bs.
I've had this conversation with Force and he is actually one of the good ones who gets it. He don't like it, but he gets it

I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a...
