Nice find! I wish it'd default to on and then you opt to turn it off but it's really nice that option is available now.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz. yeah, i noticed it almost as soon as GR was out, it is an easy way to check other poeple alignment to see if they are only "tourists", but other than that i dont see myself using it much lol
It came with Issue 19 along with the set bonus display fix.
You can still get a rough idea what someone's alignment is if they have faction-specific day jobs. Nice that it defaults as off rather than on.

It's been that way for quite a while. IIRC, when GR first came out, it was always on and couldn't be turned off, then they changed it to the current default-off state. It's neat, and I'd turn it on, but it turns itself off again automatically every time you log (or possibly even more frequently), so it's really just a huge hassle.

Mine is stuck behind the alignment logo. I can't do anything with it.

While I was standing in IP tonight, waiting for more people to show up to run the Sister Psycho WTF, I passed the time looking at the Info Window of other people there.
Then, I brought mine up, and went to the Alignment Tab...
It seems that there's a new option in that tab. You can allow other players to see your Alignment tab, if you desire. It seems the option is off by default.
I'm pretty sure this didn't make it into any Patch Notes.
