Michael Rosenbaum returning to smallville yay!
That is really cool that he would do that. I'd love to see the series conclude with a hint that a new series called "Metropolis" is starting... I thought Rosenbaum did a great alternate universe Lex Luthor.
If they were going to revamp the series with a name change, they probably would have done it a couple years ago. While the quality of the show has picked up, id rather see them wrap it up and give it a rest for a couple years. Especially if theyre planning on putting a movie out in the next year or two.

IMO Rosenbaum is Lex Luthor. I've liked some of the others but really like the way he plays the character more.

I'm glad to see him come back for the end.
I am also in the group that wishes things would continue in a "Metropolis" or just plain "Superman" show. I've really enjoyed this season, except for some of the preachy stuff about Clark being a great hero and all that. Otherwise, I'm enjoying it a lot but it's making me sad that it's going to end.
@Joshua.
A new series?! Hell no! Let it die already!
Unless you mean the new series wouldn't be handle by the same people, wouldn't be so riddled with plot holes and character inconsistencies as this show, and wouldn't be geared towards teeny bop drama kids.
In which case, sure, let's see a new series.

Kill 'em all. Let XP sort 'em out.

I actually like Tom Welling and would enjoy seeing him take on the role of Superman. I like Michael Rosenbaum and consider him the best Lex I have seen. I also really like Erica Durance as Lois. I just wish they could transplant everyone into a good show. I'd watch that for sure.
I can't imagine, however, that they'd do a Metropolis/ Superman show. I am sure everyone is ready to move on and I am 99.99999999% sure that Michael Rosenbaum would, at best, do one or two episodes per season and I think even that is stretching it.

Should definitely be interesting!
