New Team UI on beta, I advise you to check it out.
By 'Darkest Night' I assume you mean Shadow Fall?

I wasn't a fan of the team window change either. However, the images being posted are a bit outdated. They're from the original look of the windows back when they first opened up the sneak peak stuff.
I really do not like the icons and text overlapping the health and endurance bars. That's a terrible, terrible design.
Edit: And the health/end colours are too dark. And now that I look at it again, the buttons above and below the League (I think?) window are cryptic. I cannot tell at a glance what they even do. They NEED text labels. |
The overall look of the windows are the same, but the colors on the current versions are a lot brighter and are much easier to read (compared to the pics posted in this thread - I still prefer the current team window, though).
They've gone from being hardly usable (difficult to read, dark colors, overlapping text ect) and not elegant (it looks odd compared to the rest of the UI, in my opinion) to just not being elegant in their design.
The buttons on the league window have pop-up text when you hover over them, I believe.

Just to be clear, the images weren't outdated when posted. This thread was just started back in mid-february.

Although the current team window on test is an improvement over the images in this thread, in my opinion it is still a step backwards from our current team window.
I would continue to encourage folks to hop on test to check it out and provide feedback in the appropriate forums there.

I like to see peoples health bars whilst playing, hovering just above just takes a click and a keybind, job done.

The 'new legacy' team window is much better than the monstrousity that's been on test for a while. But it is more legacy-ish, than anything else. The new one is still fugly.
And when I select a teammate, I miss not having a frame around the selected character. . .
"Legacy" on left, new one on right. They both true scale on command. Which is nice.

The legacy team needs darker green inside the player "pillboxes" with a bright green outline, as it is on the Live servers. In that screenshot, the green border, green background and green player text are all the same brightness, making them very hard to read.

In the new team UI, the bizarre Quit button needs the text back. There is no reason to have a gigantic button with a tiny, cryptic icon in it, when the word "Quit" will fit in the same space.
What happened to the original GUI developer?
I don't think they're that new; the original market interface revamp was almost completely unusable too. Getting that 'improvement' to have the required features and fit in with the rest of the game took quite a battle.
Being able to scale the windows is great. At this rate, I'll be using the new UI even on standard teams.

Maneuvers and the like are team buffs.
Is there a list of which buffs are Team versus which are PBAoE somewhere? That would sure be helpful cause it can be pretty hard telling them apart.
