CoX Hangs at Initial Loading Message

From out of no where the game launch hangs at the initial loading message. I first noticed this happened after the last big patch, and the subsequent smaller patch. I don't have any windows skinning programs, and can't seem to find why this is happening. I read that someone deleted the checksum file in the gaming menu, when I did this, it worked that one time after rebuilding the file. I'm now at a loss.

I run Windows Xp Pro Sp3 latest updates
4GB Memory
Dual Core 2.91 Phenom
nVidia 9800GT 1GB

Here's the list from CoHHelper. Please advise as to what I can do.

I also had this problem and I deleted the CoH.checksum and once it reloaded - I used Auslogic disk defragmenter and on the drop down did an Optimize for the drive and everything was up and running no issues since.

Have you tried letting your computer sit for five to ten minutes when it gets stuck at the "loading" screen? There was a change in the last patch that made part of the loading process much slower than it used to be; it might be hitting your computer especially hard.

Is there a thread about this? I'm curious.

Well thats what happens. It takes roughly 77 seconds to actually get the game on the screen, once there, it takes about 15 seconds to show the login screen. It didn't change until the patch, of that I'm certain. I thought my Razer Mamba was culprit but that turned out not to be true. But when I let that checksum rebuild, it returns to normal, tho it has to download information for it to rebuild.
