Well thats what happens. It takes roughly 77 seconds to actually get the game on the screen, once there, it takes about 15 seconds to show the login screen. It didn't change until the patch, of that I'm certain. I thought my Razer Mamba was culprit but that turned out not to be true. But when I let that checksum rebuild, it returns to normal, tho it has to download information for it to rebuild.
  2. From out of no where the game launch hangs at the initial loading message. I first noticed this happened after the last big patch, and the subsequent smaller patch. I don't have any windows skinning programs, and can't seem to find why this is happening. I read that someone deleted the checksum file in the gaming menu, when I did this, it worked that one time after rebuilding the file. I'm now at a loss.

I run Windows Xp Pro Sp3 latest updates
    4GB Memory
    Dual Core 2.91 Phenom
    nVidia 9800GT 1GB

Here's the list from CoHHelper. Please advise as to what I can do.

What exactly this? I hear about it and read about it but I'm not sure how it works or what purpose it serves. Yes, I'm new (ish).

Also, what are IOs again? I keep losing my mind. I went back to WoW for a little =/

Last question, is there any enhancement that increases jump height? I have a fire/fire blaster with super speed and I took hurdle hoping it would make it fun...it doesn't do as much as I'd like. Thanks for the help.

Pre-ED most people slotted with damage enhancements almost exclusively but post-ED you get basically zero benefit from slotting more than three of the same enhancement type. Given that go through your attack powers and make sure that you have at least one accuracy enhancement in each (possibly two if you like fighting higher level enemies). Additionally there are a few other things you can do to boost accuracy. The simplest is to get a Kismet: +6% Accuracy IO. You can slot this in Combat Jumping or Hover if you took one of them as your travel pre-requisite power and it provides a 6% to hit bonus which if you're slotting 1 accuracy SO in every attack increases your chance of hitting by about 8%.
I had a free respec that I just used. From memory I have:
    Ring of Fire
    Combustion
    Aim
    Fireball
    Fire Blast
    Fire Breath
    Hasten
Fire ****(it is a quick shot fast power)
    Fire Sword Circle
    Build Up
    Super Speed

I'm lvl 23 currently. What is IO? I'm sure its not input/output. Pre and post ED...I don't know what ED is?

    help a noob day!

I'm a newb. I come from WoW, CO, and some other stuff. CO has horrible customer service and ripped me off for a 3 months of gaming. I'm back to the original and must say I love it. There are a couple things I'm looking for and hope someone can help me. I'm looking for a tool that lets you test your build and power scheme. I see one exists I just don't know what it is or where to find it. But a thottbot-esque website would be nice. Also, what is AT? I see this in alot of thread but I have no ide what it means. I've revived a fire/fire toon I made a long time ago...any suggestions would be great. I know I miss ALOT of the time but my aoe rocks. Any advice would be great...thanks!!
