Running enemies... Yet again!

Which is stupid, but that'd be why it's not fixed.
I can't remember who it was, but one guy made a video of Nosferatu running without attacking (and his narration voice was sexy, as both guys and gals in the thread were saying), and Castle popped in to explain why enemies run, and that THAT type of running wasn't how it was supposed to work (if I remember it right at least).

But when we're talking about an elite boss, I have to start grumbling a bit. More specifically, I'm talking about Burkholder, as found in Jenni Adiar's arc.

Code Monkey and I had Jack-in-Irons do that to us the last time we duoed him. 'Big guy took about half his health then turned and ran for it... He somehow ended up climbing a tree and we had to chase him across half the forest via tree-tops to finish the fight. It was bizarre.

Stand still I only want to kill you!

I've found myself saying that more than once. Good that you are reporting it instead of trying to use it as an exploit "JOIN THE AV FARM!" lol (at least I assume you didn't)

While I don't mind some running (a lot more than the average forum goer), there does sometimes seem to be some oddness, indeed.
As you've mentioned, those EBs running and not bothering to attack just can't be working properly.
Maybe you entered the mission while the EB's stand-ins were still on set?

Mission Director: "Oh, ****! Sam came in before the talent arrived... Places everyone!!"
EB Stand-in: "But... but... ACK!!! RUN AWAY!!!"

If you follow him long enough, he'll probably lead you to craft services.

Sorry, I have nothing useful to offer you, Sam!

I'm actually going to say that between character-burnout and THIS, I'm going to be shelving my Mastermind for the moment, and will likely not be playing Masterminds for some time. It's just annoying and unfun, and it honestly feels like I'm cheating when enemies don't fight back while I kill them.

Anyway, I have Dead Space 2 to go through, and if I'm not COMPLETELY depressed by the end of that, I'll reroll another 50 Blaster.
