Build critique Elec/Wp
That could use some work.
High pain tolerance needs heal IOs for max health. Regen is X present of total per second healed. So increasing hp increases that.
Rise to the challenge could use slotting for the - accuracy de-buff. That's sort of like adding +defiance to all.
Hasten seams way over slotted. I got some help for my Wp/Elec tank that might help. And here's my working prototype build. Still need to reorder some of the powers though.

You can take a look at the wiki website on enhancement diversification. Basically, slotting more than 3 generic IOs of the same type is too many, unless there is a special reason for doing so. For example in your second build, hasten, rise to the challenge, quick recovery is over-slotted. There is a sticky thread at the top of the page which contains all the links to brute's guides. Maybe some of them are helpful.
For your power choice, I would pick charged brawl and build up. Melt armor can be dropped as the debuff for a brute is not really great. Maybe drop hasten as well, if you're not a huge fan of it. For your slotting, some powers just use generic IO, some use IO sets. Can I know what determines your choice? Is there a budget or some specific goals?
alright, i took in to consideration what you said, and the only thing i didnt do was drop hasten and pick up charged brawl, and i didnt do that because i have the other ST attack with fire blast. but other than that i changed the slotting to get rid of diminishing returns, and i added build up instead of melt armor. as for my specific goals, i plan on using this character to either farm in AE or just tanking trough +2(x8) mobs, with or without teams, which is why im so focused on the defense aspect of it. here's my latest revision to my build:

Getting better but there are a lot more sets you can add of coarse. And some global/unique enhancements that can add a lot. And you should have rise to the challenge turned down to 1 if you're running comparisons. Right click on rise of the challenge and you can set it under the info tab.
Alright, this is the build i am working with currently. i just cannot figure out how to get more defense out of it, if someone can help me with that, it would be very appreciated.

I've been looking for a good elec/wp build for my brute. Used to be great, but I tried to perfect it, and ended up ruining it. He gets completely decimated by the first group of arachnos he hits.
