Any advice i what i should take off or get differnt would be appricated. Im not a computer export or anything like that. but i love playing this game and wanting to upgrade to a much better comp. I have seen alot of gaming comps that have a 2 hard drives 1 sshd for the video cards and the main 1 for all other storage and im not sure about the mother board.

Hmm. This machine seems *dated* given newer hardware came out.

Sandy Bridge CPUs are quite nice and for intel fairly inexpensive. The Nvidia GTX 480 has already been replaced by the GTX 580. Do you really need water cooling?

Windows 7 Pro is probably the most I would get. Ultimate probably doesn't do you any good and Pro would even be debateable. Home Premium would probably be enough for you.

This is a pretty pricey setup, probably in the $3000 range. I'm sure most of the hardware people here could set you up with something faster for less.

This computer would be waaay overkill for CoH. Heck my 4 year old E6600 has no problems with CoH.

First issue:
South Bridge:Intel ICH10R
Number of Memory Slots:6×240pin
Memory StandardDR3 800/1066/1333/1600*/1800*/2133* (OC)
PCI Express 2.0 x16:2
Onboard Video Chipset:None
Audio Chipset:Realtek ALC892
Max LAN Speed:10/100/1000Mbps
PCI Express x16:1 (When other PCI-Ex1 slot is used, this slot will auto arrange from x4 to x1)

So it is NOT a true SLI/Crossfire board it doesn't have 2 true 16 x slots.

It is WAY over priced. A faster and better system could be built for half the price likely.

Let me correct Infernus before the forum logs me off for a third time mid post. That motherboard does support two video cards at x16, the third x16 slot is really only an x4 or x1.

It does have USB 3.0 but only on an internal connector. Not sure if it has a bracket with them or not.

... also, do you play much else but COH? Or have a particularly large screen to do it on? If not, I wouldn't even bother with two video cards - one 570 or 580 would probably be more than enough.

Water cooling - I'd bet they're using that self-contained unit Corsair and some other places sell, just rebadged.

The SSD looks a little cramped to me at 30 Gb. (Personally I still use decently fast normal hard drives.)

I'd agree Windows 7 Ultimate is overkill. Home Premium is enough for most people. Pro adds a few things that can be useful, but Ultimate, not so much unless you're in a business and traveling around with a laptop you want secured.

Decide if you really need 12 Gb (do you do a lot at once?) or if half of that will do.

Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

I will look the spec's over again! I missed that it does have 2! Sorry for the wrong info - was in between calls and kind of rushed it!
