The idea that SyFy bothered to dress up what should have been a funny 5 minute Internet video in the trappings of a "sci-fi" movie to be aired on the "supposedly" sci-fi TV network is pathetic. The people who are responsible for SyFy are proving to be about as competent as Christian TV network people trying to run the Playboy channel would be.

I agree, Its definately in the 'so bad its good catagory' - no way to run a station.
I remember way back when we first saw SyFy here on BSkyB here in the U.K - then branded 'SciFi' with a little rocket elipse logo, It was actually pretty good for watchable programmes.
I will say this, I think SyFy may be on to something here. Just imagine a new show called Wrestling with the Stars. Every week washed up celebrities would team up with professional wrestlers for a steel cage match.

already had a boxing one. it let us all know that greg brady is a wuss and danny partridge is terrifying.

The movie was gloriously bad.
I wasn't sure what to expect--the previews made it look like they were actually putting effort into it this time--but it held to the same tried and tr... er... well, no, they didn't try, and the movie was truly awful. But in a good way.
A million disembodied, poorly-CGed, reptile-bitten thumbs up.
(And if anyone has a link to the "Charm the Snake" song that played throughout the movie, hook me up, I need to torment people with it.)

my mom came into the room and was trying to compare these movies saying that those horrid monster movies nowadays were what godzilla movies were back when they were kids and i was like heck no, godzilla is 100x better than this garbage lol
