Coercive Persausion in Synaptic Overload?

Does anyone know how Coercive Persuasion works in Synaptic Overload? Does it only have a chance to proc off the first target or can it proc every time it jumps? For that matter, how does Domination work with Synaptic Overload?

I've usually shied away from Confuse powers for some reason, but after getting three Coercive Persuasion drops yesterday (two on the same Barracude SF ), I'm starting to think it might be a sign from the dev-gods to drop the group immob and pick up SO instead.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure how the proc works, but I'm inclined to believe it'll proc on each jump. As for domination, it only works on your initial target - nice, eh?

Curious, why would you drop the group immobilize? It keeps the mob together. o_o

Nope, this is wrong. PROCs will attempt to check all the way down the chain. The problem with some of them, any that attempt to buff or heal the caster, is that in the case of Chain and Patch type powers "Caster" isn't your character, it's an invisible pseudopet which is casting the effect.

The general rule for Chain and "Patch" type powers (along with a few others) is that Offensive PROCs will be fine (chance for damage, mez or debuff) but chance to give the Caster a buff / heal won't work as expected.

OH wow! So that is why my chance to heal never works when I use Jolting Chain! It is only checking on the first mob! Wth that sucks! At least I know that now and can take out that worthless proc! TYVM!

Ah, that'd explain it then. I only ever checked it with stuff like the chance for +rech.

It's funny: I didn't realize until you just said this, but I was thinking in terms of Purples and the Rule of Five and I didn't even stop to think that I actually do use the Immob. Instead, I might drop Power Sink (I'm Perma-Dom anyway so END isn't a problem) and slot a set of Efficacy Adaptors in Chain Fences.
