Earth/Fire Dom thinking about dropping Combustion for Salt Crystals

Ive been playing my Earth/Fire dom and I really enjoy him but I realize that I almost NEVER use Combustion It seems like a totally wasted power. I wish they had given Fire Sword Circle instead as it animates much quicker. That being said I was looking at Salt Crystals however the fact it is PbAoE bothers me a little. However it would be a nice mule forthe very cheap Sleep Purples.

Anyone using Salt Crystals to good effect ??

The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.

If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-

Anyone try using the Earth Sleep (or plant sleep for that matter) on the RSF as a mind dom does it?

I've heard people have done it with Spore Burst since it's pretty much the same as Mass Hypnosis, but as you know it's very risky to do it without also having a ST sleep because you will most likely miss eventually.

Salt Crystals has double the recharge so I don't think you can do it with that.

my earth/fire dom has combustion mostly as a set mule, i already have 5 purp sets and i really dont like sleep powers all that much

if you had room for another purp set i would take the sleep then since it is cheap

if you have mids and want to see my earth/fire build just toss me a PM
