Having fun on an Electric Armor/Kinetics melee tank!
Grounded is an odd power. When it says "Must be near the ground," it seems to really mean "Don't ever leave the ground." At least, that's how it feels to me.
I wish Grounded had like a discharge animation (like a static shock)/minor damage penalty for jumping out of Grounded's effective area. I mean, you are essentially 'ungrounding' yourself, which is quite hazardous.
Elec Armor really shines on the low level TF's. Lots of Clockwork and Freakshow with energy damage and drains, both of which you are practically immune to.

Combat Jumping will solve the "off the ground" immobilize problem. It also gives you a spot for the Kismet, which is quite handy.
I have been playing something new for me, having never tried an electric/kinetics model - I rolled one and so far he is very fun!
Tanking even at low levels the only thing that gave me trouble was Vahziloks - but who don't they bother? Now I am at 21 and have done both Positron 1 & 2 - I can say he is really starting to come together.
On a different note anyone ever notice the Electric armor resistance to immobilize seems broken? Ruin mages were able to immobilize me every time!
