Im on a mac so I cant access MIDS. Influence isn't an issue, and I was wondering if anyone could share with me the PERFECT Fire/Fire Scrapper build!

I wasn't aware that mids was not compatible with a mac. Sounds like you just want someone else to do all the work for you with 0 effort on your part without knowing anything about the set.

Perfection is impossible to obtain, but you can get damn close to it.

What do you have in mind for that Fire/Fire of yours? Any ideas on APP/PPP, if you'd even want to use em'?

Sadly, what is perfect for one person, is not perfect for another. People have different likes, dislikes, and differing skill levels. Some people swear by defense on a pure resistance toon, other people swear at it. To find your perfect build, you are going to have to make a Fire/Fire and get out there and play it.

Take all the primary and secondary and get a feel for how they work together...might take a couple of respecs, but well worth it.

Two things..take Burn, and keep in mind that they gave one of the best self rezzes in the game to the /fire secondary for a reason. Due to balance, you will feel like a glorified blaster...but that's alright..a little debt builds character

Which APP/PPP are you using? My Fire/Fire has Dark, but I am thinking Body might be more my cup of tea. FA, Physical Perfection, and Laser Beam Eyes sounds real good...yes, I am one of those oddball characters who like Laser Beam Eyes. My Dark/Regen has it and uses it constantly

Assuming Recharge/Heal alpha uncommon. It would use the cremate - incin - GFS chain against AVs and tough targets (throw in a Fire Blast during the few seconds while Hasten is down). 20% def to everything allows it to softcap as needed with 2 purple insps. This build skips Burn and takes RoTP, that's right ; don't care much for Burn's activation time and radius, and I hate going to hosp/loading times (and this is why "perfect" is always subjective ).

Dual Blades/Invulnerability has to do with EVERYTHING!

... Or maybe I started working on a different build between the time I first posted the fire/fire datachunk and the time I read RaidenX's post, and then stupidly assumed the first build opened up by Mids would still be the fire/fire and copied the damn thing without even checking first.

Two times the same kind of mistake (not paying attention) in the same topic. That's a new low even for me.

Just.. on an completely unrelated note, how is fire/fire? I want to make an AE-heavy scrapper (..or rather, and AE-heavy character, but the squishy standback pewpew of a blaster is anathema to the massive amounts of scrapperlock pumping through my veins. and brutes/scrappers have so much overlap MIGHT AS WELL STICK WITH THE SCRAPPIN'))

/Fire is a no brainer for AE carnage, Burn is just.. delicious, but the primary has me at a loss, Spines/ seems like the obvious choice, but uh, I raised a spines/inv in issue 2, the memory of herding 150 5th into a trash can has just.. forever tainted my view of spines, everything feels like a pitiful shadow it's former glory

From what I understands, that leaves.. Elec/ as the only 'heavy' AoE set, which I can.. work with, I've never been a fan of Lightning rod though, so.. looking for alternatives.

Fire/ -seems- like a good choice, but I only really see two AoE's, and from what I remember from a fire/fire tank I had back in the day, Fire breath is pitiful.. and sure FSC can't be SO AMAZING that it makes up for being the only AoE in the set

Ryougi, it can with a Fire/Fire/Fire when you combine it with Burn and Fire Ball in the epic. You only need two of the AoEs to take down a group (unless you're at +2 or higher, but it's still enough AoE) and seeing as FSC has the best recharge of the three it's usually a case of using that every group then cycling between the other two for fast explodernating of groups, of course if there's a boss you can get away with using all three just because you can as they'll have recharged once the boss is down.

Here's my planned build for my Fire/Fire/Fire, it is really fun and not as squishy as everyone makes it out to be (there're these little things called inspirations, pop a single purple or a couple oranges and hey whaddya know, Healing Flames is enough to keep your health in the green)

Looking at near enough softcapped S/L defense, 38% to melee and 48% global recharge. Combine that with the recharge/heal alpha and it'll also mean a 15ish second Healing Flames. You don't need enough survivability to last to the end of the group you're fighting, only the 10-25 seconds needed for Healing Flames to recharge, and if the group is dead from AoEs then you're cooking with gas
