How much do you use player notes and ratings?

Sounds fancy. What are the entry requirements for this club? If you have big screens and PatrĂ³n, I want in!

I use players ratings very similarly as Deacon, except I only have a 1 account so my 5 stars are my exclusive club of folks I've teamed with on a weekly basis for years (many are RL friends too). I've often been surprised on off-servers/times when a 5 star name will walk into WWs next to me and I have to look in my gfriends to see who is on an alt. 4 stars are folks I've teamed with many times and enjoy their company. 1 star are folks I don't want to team with again.

I can count the number of notes I've entered on one hand and haven't used them in quite a while.

You know you're in the club bro, where the Ciroc flows free while I make it rain.

I either completely forgot about this feature, or never knew it was there.

All the people I enjoy teaming with are either on my g-friends list, active on VictoryBadges, or in a SG I recognize.

Maybe I'll turn it on and have a go:

1 - Catgirls
2 - Blasters
3 - Good players
4 - Good players with good chat binds
5 - Gave me a Purple recipe or said they liked my playstyle

5 stars: friends and excellent players whom it is a pleasure to team with. There's a lot of cross-pollination in that category.

4 stars: excellent players whom I may not know that well.

3 stars: hardly ever used.

2 stars: People who insist on doing stuff I don't like, like repeatedly SBing me in a cave and them "Oops! sorry!" after every hit.... yeah, SURE I believe that's an accident, yeppers I sure do. Or not. I want to avoid these people from then on out. Also two stars for daring to recite the Speed Boost sermon. Yeah, I dont *care* about your +recharge, I am built for speed as it is and I care not about enabling your laziness. You would think skipping a name on the team roster was the equivalent of finalizing Unified Theory or something.

1 star: People whom I dislike intensely, for a variety of reasons. I have stars always enabled so that I can tell the difference when out and about.... saves me a lot of grief.

5 Stars: Excellent players who I have relied on repeatedly in the past. 90% used to be 4 starred players.

4 Stars: Great players I've met and teamed with, usually on TFs, though those who are helpful in broadcast / global channels to myself or others may get starred this way.

3 Stars: Players who have done either moderately decent things (been nice during a TF, good humor, assisted with filling to start a TF) that can either be good or bad. The main qualifier to get this is that they do something that stands out, but also isn't out of the realm of "things I would do if in a good/bad mood".

2 Stars: Players who play poorly or have suspicious behavior. Those who DC at the start of a TF and log on shortly later looking for that same TF, for example. This is a "general warning of poor behavior".

1 Star: Players who have done an unforgivable act, or are such amazingly poor team mates I begin to question their genetics. 90% of those who receive this rating were once 2 starred. None have been raised from this level yet.

All ratings are subject to change based on the player's current behavior. Those who have had a bad night can redeem themselves. Notes are used to detail the extent of the transgression or expound their virtues. Notes are never deleted, only updated.

5 Stars: Don't use this. People who deserve this are already on my global friends list.
4 Stars: I don't use this.
3 Stars: Again, no use.
2 Stars: No use
1 Star: Dimwits and other people I'd rather avoid teaming with in the future.

Basically I'm only interested in marking out the really bad or annoying players. Really good players usually end up in my globals list so that I can more easily team with them again, while average players don't get anything mentioned because they are, well, average.

Easiest way to get on my 1 star list is to be an idiot, deliberately causing harm to the team or otherwise being a jerk. Telling me how to play my character instantly warrants 1 star, unless I know that would actually improve my performance (which has happened once or twice in the last few years).
