Bots + Storm Is the KB just too severe?

This combination seems like it would be really powerful, if only because of the recharge intensive pet you get from Storm, but if I do this will anyone want to team with me still? The KB involved would just plain be sick!

Also, would taking group fly help anything? I've heard people say the KB becomes KD, but I've never actually tried it.

From what I've read, KB from above ends up working like knockdown, but I'm not sure the bots would cooperate, given how much the AI wants to get up close and personal nowadays. Still, the bot attacks don't seem to do knockback all that often. Certainly not as much as, say, an energy blaster.

The Tornado, on the other hand, is known to wreak havoc. That one will probably annoy people if used carelessly.

I actually started a Bots/Storm with the intent of using KB as a major form of damage mitigation. It worked pretty well, until the bots started charging in like they were scrappers...

Did they then start complaining about all the KB?

That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!

I have a level 50 Bots/storm I liked so much I rerolled another just to play it again. I really like Bots, and I really like Storm. To me, its the ultimate in mastermind evolution.

Most of the time I duo'd with my cousin's Necro/Storm. It was simply unfair to our foes. We galed, we hurricaned, but when the freezing rain comes down, our kb/repel is used to push things back into the Freezing Rain patch where the zombies and the burn patches from the bots thrive.

Teaming with storms takes some communication and compromise. The controllers and the dominators are the ones that will get in your hair. Blasters, scrappers, tanks, stalkers, SoA, khelds can all eat their cake if they can't have it, too.

Mu Master - Electric Shackles.

Totally one of the best abilities in the game. Its -KB so you just zap 'em with that, then you can go to town without sending them flying all over -- unless you want them too.

Using Group Fly is more likely to get you kicked than the knockback, thanks to the large -accuracy debuff it hits your teammates (and bots) with.

Ha, yes. I like my level 41 Bots/Storm villain so much I went and rolled a Praetorian Bots/Storm in order to have a second one heroside.

Instead of seeing KB as a bad thing, just learn how to effectively use your KB. on Indoor maps, corners are your friends.

Oranbega maps on my Bots/Storm are quite fun, all these nasty CoT trying to force their way though a tight tunnel filled with knockback-laden lightning and Tornadoes and Hurricane...
