Please, I am truly confused, not sure what all shield powers I actually need as well thanks all.

You need pretty much all of them except Grant Cover, unless you want defense debuff reduction. Which you should.

SO build is easy. ED cap your defense powers. Slot at least one end reduction in every toggle, two in every attack. Deflection could use some resist if you get extra slots. Enhance True Grit with heal and resistance if you can afford the slots. Slot Shield Charge with one accuracy, two damage, and three recharge. Be sure to grab Weave and Combat Jumping. Maneuvers will help too, but may not be worth the endurance.

I'm sure you can have a look at the /SD and MA related threads (some of which are on the first page) and throw together a build yourself, and then post it.

I am sure there is not one on the first page and there all io builds no need to be a jerk, if you do not want to post it thats just fine someone else might want to though, I am not a big number crunching person and I am confident that my build will look very very bad to these guys in the forums espically considering I hardly play scrappers.

Now again I ask politely if anyone has a build I would greatly appreciate it, if not thats ok I will just have to deal with that.

...not quite what you asked for but I was toying around with a lvl 50 regular IO build yesterday. I'm not sure if its' the best build at all but maybe it'll help...for what its' worth.

Just want to pull this out to say "no one cares."

Seriously, no one is going to make fun of you, even if you post an absolutely horrid build. If anyone does, the rest of us would certainly jump on him.

In general, though, you get a lot more help out of people when you put effort into it first. I don't really hand out any sort of build, but I'm not going to hold back advice, as you saw in my first post. If you post a build, I'll tell you how I think you can improve it. I'm not going to give you a build. I think most of the people who can help you follow this same philosophy.

I agree with this for the most part. I've had very little luck getting many replies to most of the builds I've requested help on lately so I find myself wanting to help others...even though I don't consider myself to be one of the more adept scrappers here...at all.

Plus, the OP stated that they were really confused. I can understand that since I'm in the process of digging through pages and pages of stuff right now for info on a certain build or two myself. It gets frustrating trying to determine which build to get your inspiration from when you've finally found a handfull of builds across 10 pages of forum speak and everyone has a different opinion.

However, I still believe it's best to try and make the build yourself...you learn more that way. With that in mind, I thought that your original response was very helpful to that end.

Hmmm well to me that is kind of a waste effort or not, it just does not make sense when you really know nothing about it, but if it will humour folks here I guess I will anyways thanks for all the help, I am focusing more on attacks then the aid self pools and stuff,

Since I was curious how one would look put together, I went ahead and did so. Here is what I got - soft capped defenses but I have no idea what kind of budget for IO's you have, so there are no purples and no exorbitantly expensive regular IO's like LotG +Rech or Numina uniques. Thats not to say the build is necessary cheap however, since the Touch of Death sets are pricey and individual pieces of the other sets will set you back a chunk of change.

I also built it how I would level up with it. I don't find a need for Cobra Strike myself, but if you solo a bunch it can help out. You could swap that for Thunder Strike and put in a full set of Stupefy - you'll only lose 0.5% ranged defense and pick up another 6.25% rech to boot.

The APP was chosen to reflect the amount of toggles you have to run with this, along with its minimal slotting requirements.

It will help, because you will be able to learn how to improve on whatever build you put together, as opposed to just cutting and pasting a build and not really knowing why it's good.

Good luck.
