Are you talking about playing your old 50s or rolling a new one?

4 years is a while ago...do you remember which issue you ended at?

There's been a *lot* of changes to the game since you've left.

This is probably as good a place to start as any:

BTW, welcome back

Welcome back....

Is there anything specific you need to know.. a lot has changed in 4 years.

You might want to go to Paragon Wiki to get caught up on a lot of the major changes.

The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.

If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-

They also have a mentor project with people that help new/returning people get used to the game. There is a thread for it in the player help section.

It depends on what you intend to play. If you are playing old characters, that will be a function of level. One though I would recommend for any characters 35+ is to do the Midnighter arc so you can have Cimerora access.

For new characters, the content in Praetoria is very good, so I'd stick to that. The old fashioned early level progression is rather dated.

You will probably want to do some research in IOs in ParagonWiki as they are a very important aspect of the game these days. They aren't necessary, but the level of power potential they represent is huge.

There's been a lot of new stuff since you've been gone, and it would take a stupidly long post to list it all. Better to just dive in an find it.

I was in that same boat 4 weeks ago, ThunderClaw... Since then I've rolled a dozen new characters to try out the new sets and play styles, completely ruined one of my favorite 50's (trying to respect it with new slotting tips) and took a tour around the Red side with a Hero from the tips missions.

I left soon after Villains released but the content in Praetoria is rather interesting - enough to not level past 20 yet just so I can get a feel for it again. I figured I would just roll noobs feel the game out again and see where it goes...

However I'm still standing in the middle of Praetoria (and other old Hot spots) wondering where everyone went and why are the channels so silent...

The global channels most used are JFA2010 and Justice united

just type /chan_join "Justice united" and /chan_join "JFA2010"
