Betraying Escorts Question
Yep, that's pretty much what happens. I don't recall if they say their death dialogue or not, I don't think they do though.

Yes, if you use an escort to a location, I've had problems with them even betraying at all. And for allies, they only speak their rescue and betrayal dialog and nothing else.
pre-I18 (I16, I17ish) I did not get the betrayal to work at all for escort, while it did work for ally. After I18 the escort did work, but the dialog was still largely left out.

Your title had me thinking the cops were onto my little indiscretions.

Thanks for your answers everyone!
When I was working on Betrayals last, the only dialogues that seemed to work were their Ally Inactive, Ally Active, Ally Defeated, and the dialogue they spoke when they killed something. The betrayal on mine was set to happen as soon as you walked up to them.

I seem to recall someone was mentioning here that there's a prob with escorts that betray, being that they then ignore their 'health dialogue' (at half health "Oh ho! You'll not be rid of me yet!", at defeat "You've not seen the last of me, $name!", etc.) - but I can't seem to find it now.
Is this true? I'd like to know before I type in all my sparkling dialogue, only to never see it again. (Actually I just don't want to bother spending time fine tuning it for perfection if no one's ever going to see it. )
If so, I'm guessing that once they betray, then they speak that allotted comment and then hush for the rest of the battle/mish, right?
