Synergies with Gravity?

I'd quite like to try out a Gravity Dominator (and take Propel, even, if freebie Fitness gives me space) but none of the secondaries really jump out at me.

Do any of the Dominator secondaries synergise particularly well with a Gravity primary? Liliaceae's guide says that Gravity can be a really solid soloing build early, with the single-target combo of Crush/Lift/Gravity Distortion/Propel - does that mean I should shoot for an AoE secondary, or stick with Gravity's strengths and go single-target-focused there as well?

I've got a Grav/Energy dom and he is great. Great single target attacks, I mean I love total focus and burst. With singularity out I just throw out 1 hold and he kinda does the rest for me will I pick them off one by one. I've even started up a new one its a Grav/psi, now he is only lvl 10 but he is still fun and should be awsome to wormhole them to me and then hit psi shockwave. But I think it can work with all secondarys rather well

Gravity/Fire and Gravity/Electric offer some interesting ranged power choices. You'd have a solid ranged attack chain by level 8 or so.

If you're not afraid of "squishy melee" Gravity/Stone is a very smashtastic combo. A bit of rough ride before you get Seismic Smash and Singularity...but worth it.

While questions are be answered... does domination affect the magnitude of the teleport in Wormhole. I'm always annoyed bosses don't get teleported!

I have always wanted to play this set to 50 but having no real aoe control for 26 levels has always stopped me, also the retardely long cast time of propel that doesnt balance out for its damage. For how long that power takes to cast it should be equal in damage to energy transfer at the very least. In almost all cases the target is dead when on a team well before the power finishes being cast. Maybe when castle decides to finally fix this set and move wormhole to lvl 12 and get rid of dimension shift. I know there is the cottage rule and all but think of gravity as a cottage that has some severe building code violations that must be fixed or the cottage will get torned down.

You do get a ranged AoE hold at 18. When used with Domination or Power Boost it's quite effective. Just sayin.

Good point..for a Grav Dom a secondary with Power Boost is quite the godsend. /Earth, /Energy and /Ice are pretty staple seondaries for Grav. I'm hearing Grav/Psi is pretty good now..but I've had such bad experience with it (before the Dom revamp) I a little afraid to recommend it.

Not that I know of. Checking Red Tomaxes site seems to confirm it as there is no listing for an increased mag teleport effect when in Domi mode.

I'm pretty sure that Wormhole will teleport bosses though, I've done it before with my Grav/TA controller (they don't get stunned though but for a Domi would be if the Domi has Domination up).

Thorns might be a decent secondary for Grav. Wormholing things onto Thorntrops sounds fun and Lift would gel well with the Thorns set (Propel doesn't really do enough damage on a Domi to be worth the animation time).

Energy would be a very solid combo indeed but the powerful single target blasts and melee attacks pretty much mean that things like Propel and Crush are unneeded.
