What was the length of the time it took you to reconcept? I've had a friend who's lost 4 names during a rename, like someone was stalking her just to screw up her toon.

Eee! I can't imagine what i'd do if someone stole my name. I wanted to offer insight and help, but I think th best ideas have already been stated. I think the idea of simply switching to another metal was probably the simplest and best.

I'm sitting on Steel Sorceress and Tin Witch Mk II while I make a final decision. I've created both as characters, so at least they're less likely to get nabbed!
That really sucks. 
What may help in the future is to make a new costume, try out new powers, etc. on a different server under whatever name you can get - even Tin Witch TEST, etc. Save the costume file, save the power customization file and then quickly reroll your toon and load those files on Virtue at an odd hour. Tho if you're loading stuff real fast anyway it's highly unlikely someone can snag it THAT fast unless you really are being stalked - so if you feel that's the case go back to the odd hour thing when doing the quick changes.

Poor Tin Witch needs a new name. Someone nabbed it while I was re-concepting her.
Anyone want to throw ideas at me? She is/was a robotic spell-slinger.
Edit: And yes, she was around long before this 'Tin Mage' imposter with his TF thing showed up.
