Ghoul death emote?

A few people have reported seeing players performing the Ghoul death emote with their characters. Can anyone tell me how they're doing this? So far, it's been seen in the D and Oro, on Virtue.

Thank you.

It's an unlockable emote. You earn it as a possible reward from one of the new Zone Events in Praetoria. Surprisingly, it's from the one with ghouls in it!

The "Tantrum" emote can be selected as a reward for the Neutropolis Event, if you do it on the Praetorian Police side (you must attack the Ghouls).

If you do it on the Ghoul side, the emote reward you can unlock is the Ghoul flex.

I just ran the event on both sides, and was offered the Ghoul Flex, but not the Tantrum. Is there some special kind of action that must be done to earn it? Another player on the team earned and he was the one who downed the Ghoul boss. Is it tied to that?

The rewards you can pick are tied to contribution level, and it isn't exactly clear on how that's calculated. I never had any problem getting the full reward table as long as I was involved with the event from the start on my tank, but I know of at least one Mastermind who couldn't get the badges despite being in from the beginning.

I keep ;ghoulflex on a macro so that as soon as ;tantrum is done, I launch into that.

As mentioned above, there is currently a bug where pet damage isn't being counted for your participation. If you're a MM, do it without pets and use all your temp powers and non-pet powers. You need to reach a certain critical point of participation to get the upper tier rewards.

I was on my Corr healing, debuffing and taking pot shots where I could... guess the support part isn't registering correctly either. The scrapper also didn't get it. Just the blaster who use his nova power. OK, will wait for a fix.

Thanks guys.

As per a recent post by Castle, he hints that damage isn't being counted, or, being highly discounted for all ATs, pets, owners, and those who don't have pets.

It's the activity level of the character that's being tracked. So, no ATT AGG for MMs and stand back and watch. Work your secondary non-stop if you want the higher tier reward table.
