May All Of Our Characters Share In Invention Perks?

Nope, all unlocks are per character. You will need to grind them out for each character you wish to have them unlocked on.
All progress is also singularly tracked per character.

If it wasn't a 5 minute duration and 60 minute recharge It would be more viable as a reward for the sheer amount of crap you have to go through to get it.
I feel a rant coming on so I'm gonna go now.

Even a moderate amount of dumping all your invention salvage and big ticket recipes on the market will net you most, if not all, of the free slot unlocks.
Just sell everything for cheap.

I am wondering if, once one of our characters has unlocked a certain Invention System perk (such as gaining more salvage and/or recipe slots), all of our characters on that account will be able to take advantage of the newly unlocked perk.
I ask because I have a character who has unlocked all new salvage and recipe slots and gained the Portable Workbench accolade, but I do not want to have to go through the expense and tedium of grinding through those items again.
In a similar vein, I am also wondering if all characters on an account will be able to contribute to gaining the perks and the Portable Workbench.
I hope that the Devs will consider a retroactive global unlock for the salvage and recipe slots.
