Looking for a mature, friendly server where i can get lots of teams

I play mostly 9ish and later daily central time even 2 or 3 am at times, then days off of course.

Rp is a bonus, currently on virtue but something has been off about the server lately and not enough teams for some reason even though the population is in the red.

As much as I love new people coming to Infinity, and welcome you if you decide to come here, if you really like Virtue I'd recommend waiting til i19 drops (should be this week) and see if the teams return. My guess is everyone's running certain AE missions at the moment, and once they're killed, they'll go back into normal game.

But if you decide you don't like Virtue regardless, welcomes! Best way to find teams on Infinity is usually to join some global channels--tfs and sfs and other teams are usually forming at any given time. I don't rp myself, but I know we have a couple groups around who do.

Yes sadly no one wants to level normally im sure we all used it some to maybe see if you enjoy the powerset or not before you invest loads of time into it.

I am just starting to doubt virtue now, seems all people on there are elitists, I am not kidding if there not that, then there just powergamers which some can be ok, but hardly any good rpers. And everyone almost everyone is using the ae stuff makes you wonder who actually enjoys teaming in this game.

I am just speaking from experience on the server, if people are going to judge me over that then I do not want to be friends with them, I want nothing to do with that.

I dont even know what server we are now, but im pretty sure virtue is still the "Rp" server. Its also has a larger population. That been said welcome to infinity should you choose to stay.

We do have some rpging SGs i believe, but i got no clue as to who they are.

So what you're now claiming is because there may be some good players on one server who will be HIGHLY OFFENDED that this person dare make a comment on some bad players from the same server, they shouldn't mention their bad experiences on another server?

My goodness. Someone is mighty touchy. And I can also tell you that most people won't give a rats patooty that this person is being honest about their experiences on Virtue. Which is what they did. You're the one extrapolating information they didn't provide that everyone is a hoity toity player. They just said that the people they've run across so far are like that.

Way to take something personally that has nothing to do with you. And way to randomly blow up an issue that again, has nothing to do with you. Unless of course Angel has actually teamed with you and you're one of the people they're talking about from personal experience, which makes their statements factual, and not bridge-burning at all.

And to the OP, some good channels on Infinity to find teams tend to be Infinity Badges 2.0, AE Anonymous, Infinity Hamidon, Inf Badge Seekers. I know there's more, darned if I know them though. Best of luck on finding teams. And really, there's a reason most of us are on Infinity versus other servers, and we tend to be a welcoming bunch overall (every server is going to have their downers, unfortunately, but Infinity is big enough it's pretty easy to ignore them). As for the rp, again, I don't know how to contact them since I don't rp myself, but I know they exist since I keep running across them in the game.

I made a similar post like the OP, when I was traveling servers. I didn't get a snippy response, like what Impish Cat said to OP. What I got were more people who understood the bad first experiences and reinforced the notion that there are good people there and gave me some good advice.

I'm gonna do the same for you OP. Don't let the arrogant players deter you from playing on a server you're new to or may like. There are always good players around. You may find them unexpectedly or they find you

I used to play on Infinity, back when I was trying to get a 50 on each server. I predominantly play on another one, but there is really a very good player base here. And though over time, my other server has shown me some truly exceptional, great players (and the personalities behind them), it has shown me a lot of ...unsavory folks as well.

On my run to 50 with my blaster here, I never ran into any unsavory characters. I'm sure I could have found some, but if I couldn't play on my preferred server, I'd be here. As it stands, I still play here a couple of days a week. I tend to get confused, forgetting what server I'm actually on.

Anyway, I just wanted to chime in that Infinity is a very good server, and anyone should have no qualms about investing their time here. If you're not finding that pane that pops up and asks you to team, use /search or Find button on your chat box and form your own team. It's quite easy. Many players want to know what tasks are in store for them before they join, so just send them a tell, and that courtesy alone usually gets you 7 members pretty quickly.

Yea it is funny how that guy ignored my last reply, I mean your going off on other people and not even facing me anymore which kind of proves there point on you.

Anyways it is amazing how some people react, I was just being honest and I admit I am not a very patient person but I do try, and I am allot more patience then I use to be, I am going to try virtue out a little longer now they ae is gone, so hopefully things will turn up if not I will be trying ifinity for sure you guys are great and thank you for defending me, I do not see that often espically in forums.

I just wanted to mention that I have been on for 4 years now and 99% of the playing time I did until a few months back were on Infinity
Overall I believe it is an EXCELLENT server.....
for the most part in recent months I started leveling a new batch of Magellens on Freedom
just because a LOT of close, personal friends I made on the game started to slowly un-subscribe or go months in between playing on the server.
Plus I had all my charachter slots filled with 50s on Infinity anyways
Ergo I decided to go the heaviest populated server and make a fresh start.
Plus it helps since in real life I work a LOT more than I used to and the extra peeps on at all hours on Freedom make teaming easier on average.
But for the most part I have always enjoyed my times on Infinity.
If I had to compare (from my own personal experiences) both servers' reputations are well earned (both good and bad)
On average I found more of a "mature" base of players on Infinity.
On average I have found more of an "immature" base on Freedom.
But I take the good with the bad.
There is quality on both servers.... and quality peeps and players
