I'll actually commit to a certain character this time. Raw Drum (sonic/traps corr).
-
If there is still space, I'll show up with some support-themed.
-
I'll join! This is my favorite SF. And I'll bring a 50 that can start it, so y'all can bring whoever you want.
Most likely I'll be on either my therm, kin or cold. -
I'll join. I'll set my alarm and everything! Don't know who I'm bringing yet, but I have 4 or so corrs in that level range, or a bubbles mastermind. So, support, is what I'm trying to say. I will be support.
-
Done.
As a side note, I do paid surveys occasionally, and it was written about on par with actual surveys for real companies, so I'm not sure about the nit-picking from others. The grammar was a bit wonky in places, but it was readable and not confusing. -
Quote:To confuse the matter further, there is a second Darque on Infinity, but I think his/her global is Darque, and then there's a Darque who has a different global? Or something?Darque Deuce (or one of her many incarnations of Darque) Smilin Joe Fusion, Klinus, Morthos Malkovich, if you remember any of those names
I don't know, I can't keep track of all these new kids.
Also, you forgot about Wasp? I'm telling. -

Quote:dUmb is something of a revolving door membership--the members poke in and out a lot. Some of the Mafia is still around, like Eran Rist (more are around, but can't speak for them). Don't know about Evil Geniuses or PUAD, never ran with those kids. Its been nearly 4 years since I've been in game, got me a new vip account and am just wondering what big SG/VG's are still around.. Used to be in Evil Geniuses, ran alot with the Darque Mafia, Saw dUmb around alot and think PvP'ed against them many times.. PUAD, and many others... Basically looking for one of these old established groups who kinda remembers me or if anyone has seen the members or if everyone has dropped off the face of the planet.. :P
And your name looks familiar, but don't quite remember you. If you were in/around the Mafia however, I probably teamed with you occasionally (wasn't part of the group, friend of friends who got dragged along sometimes). However, welcome back! -
Site redesign is...interesting. Don't really know what the last one looked like--always went through NCSoft's official page.
New trailer is awesome! Still wish they would go to story-based videos (like the Ouros one someone mentioned, I can almost ignore the weird/bad video thanks to the epic voice actor), but this one has an epic feel I haven't seen from promo vids in a long while. Yay. -
4 pm PST works for me right now. Just so you can have a running tally of such things. I figure it'll be at least a couple hours long, thus allowing people who get out later to drop in and say hi? Obviously won't work for Task Forces, but for normal mission nights.

133-160 million when I just checked.

I'd like to be on a back up list. As in, I'd like to do it, and my schedule is free right now, but may change last minute.
Not sure who I'd bring, yet. -
Siol--I'll bring marshmallows, you bring chocolate, we have a dead-board s'more time?
-
Mondays work well for me--my week's get busier towards the end, rather then the beginning, but I know that's not how everyone works. I'd be up for it if it works more like Tanker Tuesdays where you can drop in and out, rather then fixed teams.
Would you be keeping this on Infinity, or floating between the servers? -
Do mods even pay attention to Infinity boards anymore? We're pretty dead.
*pokes dead boards with a stick* -
It's an offline program that allows you to make builds for your characters. It also allows you to see the numbers for all your powers--it's great for builds that are 'tight', aka, have a lot of tasty powers you want, or builds that require fancy slotting.
Also great if you do IO builds. -
Quote:Cutting this out to point out that some will argue even nodding or shaking her head is considered communication. It's not words, but it's communicating an idea through emotion and body language. After all, isn't most communication through body language, rather then words? That's the point - ideally, that's precisely what I DON'T want to occur between my character and any of the NPCs. The whole point of this thought experiment is to theorise a character who CANNOT and WILL NOT communicate.
I like the concept, but unfortunately your best bet is to really just ignore the dialog trees and what the NPC's 'make' you say. It's not like they're probably listening anyways. I had to recently move to a part of the country where it's considered a great place to live, but I personally hate it (grew up here, so the magic doesn't exist for me). I've had the following conversation more times then I can count:
"Oh you moved to x?! How do you like it?"
"I don't, actually."
"I know, isn't is AMAZING?!"
"Um. Yeah, you know, we'll just go with "amazing"."
People don't listen, it's a human thing. So you can pretend the contacts are basically 'filling in' her answers, like the poster with the cricket character mention. -
Obvious troll is obvious. Needs moar rage.
Off topic, Villain_Tech, where is that avatar from? -
Quote:After reading this thread, I'm convinced that many people here have no lives at all. To complain because a /video game/ is down for necessary maintenance is just pathetic. I honestly don't care if you think you deserve the game to be running 24/7 because that just isn't going to happen. The game has been down for maybe a day when you add up all the maintenances this entire month. You guys are really complaining about that? Grow up, children. Get out of your computer chairs and go do something else until the game is back up.
But but...I like my computer chair. It's all comfy and squishy and it spins. -
Quote:NCSoft is NOT responsible for people's real life obligations or issues. For some people it's not a few hours. For some people as everyone is blissfully ignoring this is most if not all of their playing time.
Some people can only play once or twice a week or month.
And by the way, those 'people' you're referring to? Welcome to my life the majority of the time. Please stop talking about me, I can speak for myself. -

Quote:But but, that means that you'll *gasp* have something to do! This is inconceivable! If the servers will be down most of the day tomorrow, that just means I can finish my story on Stardiver in peace. I have some pretty good ideas that I think will make for a cool ending, but it'll take time to write.
If I end the story before the servers re back up, I have Armitage III: Poly Matrix and then Dual Matrix to watch. I've been meaning to do that for a while now. Haven't seen the movies in years. Maybe even Ghost in the Shell, if I'm feeling VERY patient, 'cause you kind of need to be with that movie. -

Quote:If you could only play for 2-3 days this month, I am truly sorry, but that's life. I've had this happen to me many a time. If your schedule is so busy that you can really only play in those 2-3 day time slots, I don't really see how this is NCSoft's problem. Most people get more then 3 days off a month, and so they're catering to the majority.Just to put this on the table, for some people the downtime has actually hamstrung their play for this month. For whatever reasons they only had so much time to alot and the downtime happened on the days they could play. So for them this isn't just a few hours of downtime, it's the whole month.
You would find this extremely frustrating as well.
