Praetoria at 20?
You WILL lose your contacts at 20, but will not be forced out until you complete the mission you get at 20.
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
Ok, time to lock experience then it seems until I finish these peeps off. Thanks!
*Unless you're in the middle of an arc.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
Yes. I leveled all the way to 22/23 on a couple characters because the arcs were already started. Once the arcs were finished, they finally gave me the mission that makes you choose sides, but the arc was certainly not truncated just because i hit level 20. Any open arcs I still had persisted until they were completed.

Huh. Weird. I outleveled some contacts in the middle f story arcs, had their clues nagging me until I left praetoria. Admittedly not the 15-20 ones though.

I agree that the arcs don't just end. I finished up with everything (soloing) and left Praetoria at just under 22. Everything went smoothly, so I don't believe any of my final arc was truncated.
7+ year vet with too many alts to list...
Yes.
I was close to 20, and started every contact I could before levelling. The way to avoid being "locked out" is to have an active mission from each contact. As long as you have an unfinished mission, you can fisnihsh the contact.
I had the option from Provost Marchand to go to Primal Earth, but it could wait.
Life doesn't have to end at 20 in Praetoria, so stop giving false information
(especially in such a rude fashion).
Now go sit in the corner, with the dunce cap on, like the bad person you are! :P

I can attest to this as recently as this week. I have a level 20 controller in Praetoria who is in the middle of an arc. He was able to get the next mission in the arc AFTER not just hitting 20, but also TRAINING to 20.
(Penelope Yin's arc, although I doubt it matters which one.)
Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
I am halfway through level 19 and still have like 3 contacts that I want to finish (Dark Watcher, Praetor Tillman, and Dr Helix) but I am most likely going to hit 20 before that. Do I need to turn off exp? What actually forces you out of Praetoria?
