Grandville Vault?

Oh great and wise Devs, we beg that you see fit to grant this request and place a Vault in
Grandville.

Really, I'm surprised there wasn't one from the beginning.

There is no Vault in Grandville because Recluse doesn't have time to watch your ****. And if something gets stolen from it, guess who gets blamed?

Super Villian 1: Oh no! Someone has stolen my Pan Dimensional Vortex Inducer!
Vault Worker: We are sorry. Did you give out your combination to anyone?
Villain 1: No! The only people who knew it was here was you and me....and RECLUSE! DAMN YOU RECLUSE! HAVEN'T YOU EVER HEARD OF PROFESSIONAL COURTESY?!
Recluse in his office: Heh heh heh. *holds up Inducer* ******bag.

Not much point in having a vault in a zone that doesn't have a Market or a crafting location.

Taking the ferry you have:
St. Martial (my preference), with a vault, a Market and the Abandoned Lab
Cap Au Diable (more popular, shorter walk from the ferry to the Market, university and Vault)
Sharkhead, with a Vault and a Market (don't think there's a crafting location, but there's a base portal.)

Depending on your base, you could take the base portal and use your VG's Vault door, Salvage Bins, Enhancement bins and crafting tables.

There's no Black Market truck in Grandville becuase there's so few spots for it to park. That and the last time they were there, the driver got food poisoning from the meatloaf at Haven House.

That needs to be fixed too!

There's a Vault in Pocket D too, but getting the Black Market truck through would scuff the elevator doors something fierce.

But Pocket D is certainly the most logical place for the combined market to be found. . .

Still though, Grandville does need a vault, market & crafting facilities.

Why? Peregrine Island doesn't. And since devs hate villains it'd be more likely that PI would get them before Grandville ever does.

P.I. vs GV.

Both are L40+.
Both have base portals. (Possibly Vault+Crafting+Enhancent Bins+Salvage Bins, depending on the base.)

GV: located on a ferry line with one-zone transfer to St. Martial or Cap, both of which have full setup of Vault+Crafting+Market.
PI: One hop to Talos (Vault+Market), one more hop to Steel or Croatoa for crafting.

GV: Story/neighborhood Approriate? This is a matter of opinion of course, but....
Crafting: With Crey and others having high-tech labs here, an Abandoned Lab would not be out of place in a lower quarter.
Vault: I could see a Vault location near Haven House.
Black Market Truck? I don't know if Arachnos would allow a semi-truck full of unlicenced goods to make daily trips in and out of thier "impenetrable fortress" facade. Sure, Crey gets in all the goods they want, but as a megacorp recognized by Arachnos and able to print up all the neccesary bill of ladings, shipping documents and manifests, they can play within the game that is the Ego of Arachnos. We know that stuff will get smuggled in and out under the noses of the troops, but there's a limit as to how much, and for the brains behind the Black Market, there's going to be a limit as to how much bribe money they'll be willing to pay for access to just one more section of the Isles. The customers, of course, will come to them if they set up in a convienient enough location and St. M is business friendly.

P.I.? Story/neighborhood Approriate? This is a matter of opinion of course, but....I can totally see it.

So, P.I. first, then maybe GV.

I hate to burst your bubble, but at the most recent meet and greet, Matt "Positron" Miller, made a very unofficial but highly telling hint that Paragon Studios policy had changed, and that they now hate Heroes and Praetorians, not Villains.

If anything, I'd say Paragon could use another market and vault more than the Rogue Isles could.

Zones in Paragon City with a Market: Atlas Park, Kings Row, Steel Canyon, Talos Island.

Zones in Rogue Isles with a Market: Mercy Island, Port Oakes, Cap Au Diable, Sharkhead Isle, St. Martial.

Why the city with a lower population and fewer zones has more markets doesn't make much sense to me. Sure, the same number was fine, but I am just confused as to why they added one to Port Oakes.

Port Oakes has two black markets. Even more unfair

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

I didn't know about Shady Cage, thanks for the tip!

And I do agree that PI should get the same. Logic says since the higher level toons in Grandville and PI have already toured the realms to get where they are, there is less reason to force them travel to market and craft facilities than there would be for lower level toons forced to travel in their upward struggle. . .
