I19 and leadership pool

when I19 goes live, I have a lvl 50 WP/SS tank, and I will respec to make my fitness inherent.
I was thinking about picking up the leadership pool and using just the default slots, but I will have 1 slot I can move to one of them.

would this be a good Idea? One other fact, In the I18 beta I had(before it was yanked) the
33% end redux/20% dam resist in my alpha slot, so that should help my end control.

I have maneuvers on my kat/wp scrapper and is a nice boost to def for you and your whole team. With wp end really isnt an issue anyway even with tough and weave running

Taking Leadership is a great idea. If half the player base do it with the 3 free power slots, then watch out, bad guys!

The boost from Manouvers isn't much. Tankers get less than 3% unslotted. Its not bad as a set
mule or for capping off some defence types, but its not brilliant.

Assault is a passable "always" power on teams, maybe give that the extra slot and run it full time. The damage boost isnt huge, but it will help finish off the odd enemy here and there.

Tactics is a great sometimes power for the +Perception. If a Night Widow smoke grenades your tema, its worth its weight in gold. Much of the time you wont need to run it, but when you do its nice to have. Swarm of Rikti drones? toggle on!

And Vengeance is a fantastic situational power with no slots required. Treat yourself to a LotG +Recharge if you can afford it.

So I'd go Assault/Tactics/Vengeance. Run Assault most of the time and stick the extra slot in there for 2 end redux.

Man. +Def
Assault +Dam, Res to Taunt, Res to Placate.
Tactics +Tohit, +Per
Vengeance - shouldn't need it really unless you're a twisted tanky.

Anyway Heightened Senses offers +Per. Rage offers +Tohit. So with Tacts the question is how much will you need? If PvP then yeah some people stealth up alot and stalkers prolly require you to have atleast 150 ft of per to see them. I think it depends on how you want to slot for most of the game.

Assault Tiny increase in DPE but you can slot it for endurance OTOMH for a touch more. Does make other people lower fight durations though. Resistance to taunt handy in PvP. Resistance to Placate handy anyhow, taunt can outlast Makos placate duration or outrange Makos Placate.

Man +def and def per end point is small but it might make a big difference depending on how close you or others are to the soft cap.

Vengeance well ya could have a use for it. Some people can not be saved as you can not play their toons for them. An AoE is what it is. Sometimes preventable and sometimes not.

+ToHit and +Perception is easy enough to get nowdays, there are IOs that will do the job with a single slot.

Considering the low values that tanks get for the Leadership Pool, and the high endurance cost, the only one I'd ever consider for a tank is Maneuvers, and then only with a primary that would have trouble soft-capping defense without it. For easy-to-softcap sets like Shield, Ice, and Invul, I can't imagine ever taking it.

But that's mostly because the value per end cost is so pitiful. If the devs were ever to reduce the end cost of the Leadership pool, or make it proportional to the AT modifier, I'd likely reconsider.

Yeah, the end cost for what the leadership pools do has always thrown me off. I usually have so many toggles on my Tanks already, as well. I'd rather not add in another.

true that
however, you won't have to run the add-on leadership powers unless you want to--you can have them available for special occasions

ty for your input, with the 33 end redux i was using in I18 beta, the end should not be too bad,I have both quick recovery and stamina 3 slotted each 1 perform shifter(end) and 1 +end ,and lvl 50 IO end mod.and sometimes i have end issues, which is why i went end redux in the I18 beta

The beauty of Tactics, when you do need it, is that it confers +Perception to the whole team.

In Arachnos misisons, that alone makes it worth having.
But thats one small faction who don't really appear much in level 50 hero content - I don't think anyone else packs much -Perception in PVE, do they?

If you took your tank villainside, not really the case. And even heroside, they're showing up in tip missions, are in some Oro TFs, and the Statesman and Dr. K TFs. Not to say -perception is super common, but it is nice to have when you need it.
