Question on Regen

Hi all, back from about a 6 month break. Had to finish nursing school! Anyway. I have some questions for you guys. I have a 42 FM/Reg that I am going to continue working on. My question is, which set bonuses should I be going for, and also, which app? I was thinking of going for that one, that, uh, oh yeah! Shadow meld! Planning on alternating between MoG and Shadow meld, so I was thinking high recharge. Or should I try to get a decent level of def and not worry with the high recharge? Any help would be great. Or possible builds for ideas. Oh yeah, and I have a little over a billion inf on him to, so gauge budget off of that.


Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

Another question, I just remembered the app that has the boost to regen and recovery in it. But shadow meld is the way to go, then? ok. So I have to become a vigilante first?

No. You must become a full villain in order to be able to do a patron arc.

More regeneration and recovery is about the lowest priority on a Regen. I've not used Shadow Meld personally, but it looks like just what the doctor ordered, at least on paper. I'm waiting to hear from people actually using it.

I use Shadow Meld on my Regen Stalker and in PvE it was very helpful to remain alive. I can only assume with more HP leeway, it would be even better.



Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Per my experience on stalkers, it is spectacular while it lasts but the animation time blows.

I can see how it could get annoying. On a high recharge build, you might be cycling it every 30 seconds, so 3 seconds of cast time is spending 10% of your time keeping Shadow Meld going.

Statick Bug:
You don't have perma Hasten, thus you don't really have 120% recharge. Just have to point that out.



Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Your correct.. My bad.. I was just pulling the numbers from Mids on the totals area. That was with hasten on. With Hasten off.. its only 50%
