2. I make all of my builds very tight and if I do take a travel power it will have no extra slots to spare.

As I understand it it was an adjustment to all flight speeds in the game.. so yes indeed Team ROcket does blast off at the speed of light (bye bye low hp goldbricker. See you in a minute.).
