Difficulty Setting for A Necro/Dark MM?

I didn't really enjoy the Necromancer MM I made years ago, but I wound up taking her blueside, and lately I have been enjoying playing her.

She's Level 37.

I hadn't really touched her much for a long time, so I had just been running her on base difficulty while doing the missions to take her from Villain to Hero.

What's a good setting for a Necromancer/Dark MM?

Whatever you are comfortable with.

There's really no other answer, in my opinion.

50s: Yumi Eryuha-Arch/Energy, Mirria-Thugs/Dark, Meyami Kitsuna-Claws/SR, Celesta Seusen-SS/Invuln, Lady Mirriella-Illusion/Empathy

Arc 503982 "Dimension Xi Epsilon 22-10" Part one of a multi-part arc.

A Necro/Dark doesn't have the same AOE abilities as say a Bots or Thugs, but does have those lovely hard hitting broadsword attacks. So rather than lots of weak enemies fewer harder enemies would be the way I'd go.

+1 or +2 x2 would probably be the settings I'd aim for, with bosses switched on.

My Necro/Dark is just about unkillable with standard numbers of enemies for one or two players, even against +4s. It's silly to play her that way at level 50, but entirely possible. It's really all about making the best use of your, the Lich's and Fluffy's controls. When there are an excessive number of opponents, the various controls just get spread out too much and nothing really sticks to keep the bad guys debilitated.

I have a good friend/SG mate that has a higher level Necro/Dark. I usually duo with him on robots/* (whatever I feel like playing) and our strengths really play off each other. Necro/dark is very strong. On my necro/thermal I like to run with the Lich and the Grave Knights on aggressive with the little guys on defensive for most battles, I think it helps the grave knights attack sequence. Of course full bodyguard for the toughest targets.

Part of my thinking is I don't mind losing a pet now and then on necro/* for the level 18 pet summon. Big heals from dark or thermal really are outstanding to help your zombies fight as a pack in close to or pure melee zone. I can't say enough for the Dark Servant and his ability. Especially after level 38, your survivability should skyrocket.

On the other hand, I find something very satisfying about having the zombies puke on a nice tight pack of enemies. Necro/ may not have a lot of AoE, but what there is is puketastic!
