Winter's Gift 20% or Stealth?

I was looking for something to put in my fly power slot since it seems that speed is maxed out now. So I guess it is between Stealth and Winter's Gift. However I do not know how effective these IOs would be. I would prefer to go with the WG since I hate being slowed and since I am a brute, but I can think of several uses for stealth too.

How much of a difference would the Gift be with slows?

Would Stealth give me full invis (like SS and a stealth power)?

Stealth IO would give you 30' of stealth. Minions can see 45' so it wouldn't be full invisibility without another source of stealth. It will double up (60') for 120 seconds if you zone while fly is on though, so that would be fully invisible for a bit.

Winter's Gift is ONLY Slow Resist, not Recharge Resist. In other words, it only protects against movement slows.

Yeah, Superspeed + Stealth IO = invisibility, Fly + stealth IO does not. Now, if you have some other stealth power like Steamy Mist, then Fly + stealth IO + Steamy Mist = invisibility.

It protects from recharge debuffs as well, so that -100% rech debuff, is now only -80%..

Have been pondering a theory: After I19 and inherent Fitness, everybody will have some extra power picks and will be short on slots. So trading in a Stealth IO for single-slotted Stealth power-pick could make sense.

When it comes down to it, why choose? Put the Winter's Gift in your fly, and put the stealth (jump or run) in sprint or one of the prestige sprint clones, if you've been here 12 months, which seems likely from your reg date.

I wonder if that changed at some point, or if the IO was bugged when first released, or something like that, because I could have swore that it just did movement debuff resistance the one time I tried it.
