Nice day, isn't it?
Only ones with names that start with a certain letter will say different things.
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
Do you mean specific letters and is there a list? I checked out many choosing a wide variety.

Bah, you know what, my brain is totally fried and I completely misread your post. I'm just gonna pipe down now. I need a nap or something.
Upshot: I haven't noticed any real problems, only a toning down of the exploits.
Yes, the "Nice day, isn't it" bug. Some NPCs who are supposed to reply with varied comments when clicked these days only say that. It's been like that for quite a while.

Thanks for the list, very useful but clearly that's not working right currently then. I've checked out as many as I could. I'm guessing it's broke.

Slightly off-topic, but last night I ran an ITF and while standing around the fountain leveling, I heard two of the Cimmoran NPCs commenting on the fact that I'd joined Vanguard, so maybe that organization was all right, and that they'd seen me out there fighting the Rikti horde, so they felt so safe.
It was a bit... jarring.
Last night in Atlas Park, I overheard a civilian make a comment about my character, something to the effect of:
"I heard that Therm O'Dynamic ERROR: EVENT TEXT NOT FOUND", or something to that effect.
So I think Nemesis is implementing a plot to replace the civilians with Nemesis Automatons. That is why they have been missing. They have been kidnapped and their replacements are slowly being released back into the wild.

It has now become a running joke among the Union RP community that BOSS_NAME is the most fearsome criminal in existence, he could be anyone and anything!
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Slightly off-topic, but I encountered two curious NPC male citizens in Steel Canyon. The first one was Alexis and the other was Carmen...
to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!
You should see what NPCs say to me every day.
I'm getting tired of reporting them.
I thought they were just expressing sarcasm about the lack of weather in Paragon City.

The rule is that they must be loved. --Jayne Fynes-Clinton, Death of an Abandoned Dog
Also, didn't the cheerleader in front of the Steel Canyon university use to say a phrase or two when you passed her or clicked on her? She no longer says anything.

I believe that one Nemesis mission actually does make a civilian on the street say something along the lines of, "*click* Lord Nemesis is watching you, <charname>."

Yes, something about joining a sorority.

What's happened to all the NPC chatter?
It used to be you'd often get a quirky retort or something useful if you tried to chat to an NPC. Now by far the most simply say "Nice day, isn't it?"
Even the normally quirkly and amusing NPC dialogue seems to have broken. One hapless pedestrian wandered past me and exclaimed "Psst! Look it's Scarlet Shocker. The one who took down BOSS_NAME!"
I know there was a problem with pedestrians vanishing and been reinstated so I wonder if that's been part of the problem but it'd be nice to know how many hours I've been playing a toon or similar and that seems to have vanished. The best I've managed is 2 NPCs told me the time.
Used to be that names beginning with different letters would be key but seems something's gone pear shaped recently.
