Pets Autolevel

I have just discovered that if you level in a mission and then zone your pets autolevel as well. I guess it is a nice thing about the resummon-on-zone system. Does it work with lifts as well?

Um, I though it always worked that way.

My Necro/Dark was made before the switch and I was shocked when I hit level 16 mid mission, then resummoned my zombies and viola! I had a new third minion!

Unless your talking about the level they con to you, that's something I've never even paid attention to.

Yeah if you go up a level inside a mission they stay 1 below but if you zone they seem to con the correct level.

Not on lifts.

Another neat little trick:

If you have even one pet trained (say all the others died) and you re-summon the fallen pets before zoning, the newly summoned pets will become trained upon zoning or entering/exiting a mission.

Shhh!!! Don't tell anyone.

Interesting. With this information in my hands, my army of cyber-demon-zombies will become unstoppable. Then, I can launch my master plan against the people of Paragon city, the rogue isles, and soon....the world! Nothing will stand in the way of my world domination! NO ONE! MUHAHAHAHAHA, HAHAHAHAHAHA, A HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I remember in the early days of CoV you had to recast pets if you lvled so that they would lvl up too, no matter where you were

Crap... talk about a serious change to quality of life. This used to be such a pain.

The change to pet upgrades to be AOE instead of ST was an EPIC QoL change!

It never bothered me before, buffing each pet individually. But after the change I realized just what a pita it was.

Sorry already did that.

Now if only:

1. My pets didn't die whenever I'm side-kicked down and I exit or enter a mission.

2. My pets didn't die whenever I'm side-kicked up and I level up.

3. My pets didn't die whenever I'm side-kicked up or down and the team leader or mission owner levels up.

Seriously, I don't think these would be hard to fix. Just check the level of the pet before murdering it.

It's really irritating when my pets are already the correct level, and yet the SK code sees fit to kill them anyway. Just makes me rather upset every time it happens, especially because it's not needed.

Those havent happened to me recently since i've been duo-ing with a friend but it did happen when I gave him the star and we both lost our pets.

1 is annoying, but you can fix that by adjusting the prompt threshold.

2 isn't something I hit. I usually just resummon to get them at the correct level.

3? 3 has caused some embarrassing situations, lol.
