I found this fort build in a guide and had a quick question.

Is this a good build or no?

Keep in mind this build is just meant to provide leadership buffs and a good attack chain.

Yes, I have a build similar to this and it is great fun to play. Silas' builds are top notch, as I'm sure many will agree and I would trust pretty much all of the advice that he gives in that Fort guide as well.

For i19, I'm thinking of putting Aid Self and Dart Burst into my build, or maybe Total Domination. Now I think of it, maybe even Darkest Night . Either way my Fort is one of my favourite and most powerful toons to play, not to mention it gives some great team buffs.

uhm....


I'm not sure why there's a kinetic crash in tele blast, actually....I slotted mine with the ranged purple IO, and before that, had a thunderstrike in it.


Aside from that, it looks....pretty solid.

'cause KCrash is a 7.5% recharge and Fortunata don't really need much Defense slotting. IIRC, with perma ML and well-slotted defenses, they don't need set bonuses to softcap melee/ranged/aoe.

It also has crap damage enhancement (~70%). Fortunata ranged attacks aren't outstanding to begin with, so you want to get to ED levels of damage. If you want recharge, go for Decimation.

Also, perma-ML ain't cheap (it's not stupidly expensive either, but it costs a fair bit), so TStrikes are a great choice for softcapping a budget build.
