I have a 50 mind/thorn that I just don't play. I don't like it like I thought that I would. I had a concept that kept me raising it to 50 but just seemed to fall short in the end.
Main point of disinterest for me is switching from mind powers to thorns and having to pull out the spines each time. Man is that annoying.
The damage is ok, but not as much as I would like either.
I have a mind/psi and I like that toon way more.
So I am picking which one to log in, 100% of the time it is the mind/psi not the mind/thorn.
Mind/Thorn was one of the few alts that I deleted (at lvl 20). He worked fine; I just found him boring to play. I've never been a fan of "attack chains", as I use whatever power I may need for a given situation, rather than just mindlessly pushing buttons over and over again. However, with Mind/Thorn, I quickly discovered that there WAS "one best way" to attack, anf I found myself doing this repeatedly.
I recreated this alt as a Plant/Thorns, and he's much more fun to play.

Yeah, what's up with /thorns and all the reanimation? I haven't quantified but does it add to cast time? It always forced me to chain thorny darts -> impale -> thorny darts, then whatever else.

Hey guys, Im still trying to find the dom for me and I have recently started a Mind/Thorn. So far so good but only level 2. I was curious, for those of you who have or have played with a Mind/Thorn. What did you think of it? How was your level progress and when did you finally get the feeling omgwtfhaxbbq?
