Hey! The Codex is a themed RP-SG that's pretty active! We even have a huge story starting up this week that all members can get in on... check us out by following the link in my sig. 
You can check the thread at the top of the Virtue server forums that shows a list of a ton of SGs in Virtue. Shouldn't be too hard to contact the leaders of said SG that interests you via the contact information left behind. Hope that helps.
Well what kind of hero do you have? who do you RP with, these are the best ways into a SG, the second best way is to read posts on the forums because every now and again a SG will promote itself.

I'd offer you propaganda for Tangent, but we don't have any yet. As a new supergroup with a scant handful of players, everything about us (except for our base) is still small-scale. Not to say we don't run big story arcs or hope to gather more people, just that I think the growth of a group in a game like City of Heroes is best left to organic means.
Where do we go from here?
