Mastermind and Enhancements
Pretty sure sticking a damage or acc enhancement in your pet powers will increase the pet's damage or acc.
My "add-on" question: what about IO set bonuses? If I get +3% damage or a +6% accuracy (say from Kismet), do those bonuses apply to my pets?
Slotting accuracy, damage or healing will affect the pets. So will stuff like hold, immobilize, etc if the pet can actually use those.
I *think* that slotting recharge reduction affects the power only, and not the pets. (I only have one MM and he's only level 21 - not my favorite AT.)

There was a bug in the AI that caused pets with high levels of recharge to use only one of their attacks over and over again. Doesn't sound like a problem....until you get your Thugs Bruiser stuck in "HAND CLAP EVERYTHING!!!!!!" mode.
The only way they could effectively fix it was to make recharge buffs not work on pets.
And you get the benefit of Set Bonuses, not the pet, unless it is one of the specific bonuses that affect pets like the Defense Bonus or Resistance bonus.

Slotting Endurance Enhancement will also effect your pets, and not the Power itself. Pretty much anything you can slot in a summon power will effect the pets.
The summon powers actually do not take Recharge. This was so there would be no confusion about which was effected.
Note that this doesn't apply to timed summons, like Gang War or Soul Extraction. It's just the actual Mastermind Henchmen that don't take Recharge. (And you may be able to get around this by using a Set IO, like say a Hold/Recharge if the Pet takes a Hold, but even if you can it won't effect the recharge of the pet, only the Power)
A fun twist though, is when you slot the chance to buildup in a pet. It has a chance to fire on you each time you summon, and to fire on the pet each time the pet attacks.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
Claws - technically even the Aura IOs don't affect the pet, rather they grant you a power.

is anybody else having trouble with their pets? twice today my bots have been stuck. i can't get them to attack or come to me when i call them. i tried to summon them again in a different spot, thinking it was a temp glitch, no luck.
Hi guys,
I'm a mastermind in the game, and was just wondering how the enhancements work in regard to the 'Summon <so-and-so>' attacks.
For instance, obviously if i use recharge reduction or endurance reduction it'll reduce the cost for using the move. But if i stick a damage enhancement in there does it allow my minions to do more damage? Or does it mean that the summoning itself will deal damage?
Thanks to any replies
